- Active-duty Army Drill Sergeants from Fort Leonard Wood visited a Missouri National Guard Recruit Sustainment Program held at Camp Crowder in Neosho, Missouri. The Drill Sergeants were part of a program to expose the recruits to physical exercises and drill movements performed at Basic Training. It was also an opportunity for the recruits to interact with and ask questions of the Drill Sergeants.
This program is a great idea. Compared to the first day of my basic training, I say this will take a great deal of stress away from the new trainees as well as the training Cadre. Good job, Missouri ARNG.
Not all are like this. My state RSP involved spending a lot of it watching PowerPoints and doing exercises like a high school gym class
1:39 famous last words "Oh gosh..."
I swear the drill sergeant at 3:16 was one of my drill sergeants for alpha 210 in fort lost in the woods in 2016
Saaaame, I was in 4th platoon lol.
National Guard gave me a huge heads up for basic.
Well at least they didn't get smoke often before going to basic HAHAHA

What is the difference between a Sargent, staff Sargent, and drill Sargent?
Staff Sergeant, and a Sergeant are ranks in military. And a Drill sergeant is also a Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, and or a Sergeant First Class that has taken an oath to train the civilians to make them soldiers.
JonVon McKickAss thank you so much sir.
JonVon McKickAss thank you so very much sir. Deeply appreciate it.
Drill sergeant is a title earned as a solider. It’s a course you take to lead and train new soldiers..

Anyone in their 30s do this?
I just went through basic training this year at Fort Benning at 28. Just turned 29 this past July. I can tell there were about 4-6 guys in my training company who were in their 30s. Age doesn't matter as long as you have the desire go for it.
I am participating in this now and I am 33. I turn 34 at the end of September which is fast approaching.
Brittany Scott 37. Ship out next week. Prior service USMC
There were people in 30s and 40s in my battery at Ft. Sill. So age isn't a factor.
@@Mariescott3380 is rsp optional?
