@Veronica Pascucci I totally agree! Was in Rome July 7th to 13th and it was the BEST visit I've had to the city. Was able to visit the Vatican museum and Colosseum without being shoulder to shoulder with other tourists and the city was much less crowded than it normally would be this time of the year. And the celebrations after Italy won the Euro 2020 championship were insane, felt like the city kind of exploded with joy!

I visited the colosseum a few years ago and suddenly realised the Hunger Games was based on a true story 😲 Kara: 4:28 "They would literally kill people for entertainment". Yup... Hunger Games!!
its probably because they didn't have violent video games back then and no way to experience their craving for it without consequence
@Autumn Leaves 😲 This has to be the best response possible to my comment. Never thought of it like this but so, so much logic in your writing!! 👍
Hunger games ? What about Gladiator. That movie gives a quite decent view on how the Colosseum was used - approx 2000 years ago
This wins dumbest comment on RUclips 2021 award.
@Jeroen Engelen *inhales nervously* I've not actually seen Gladiator before *now ducks from flying objects* 🤣 I feel like I should go watch it now though...
"That's pretty neat!"
Let's take a moment to appreciate the neature walk plug 😂 that was golden. Thank you! 🤣
In all seriousness tho, thanks for another awesome video!
😆
Isn’t it awesome how us citizens and green card holders are allowed to travel to the Eu and return back home. But Eu citizens who work and live in the us are banned from visiting home because they are not allowed to return to the US. Couples and families have been separated for 17 months….
I wish I could go back to Italy. I went a few years ago for a class trip. It felt rushed but I wish I could return and take more time and actually get to know more of Italy not just the touristic places.
Can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed this video. Faithful watcher of all your videos but the international travel......oh how I’ve missed them!!
Of all the places that I have visited, I think I love Rome the most. I love the Italian dinner culture as well. Thanks for re-awakening wonderful memories.
As a European traveling in the US, this table turnover thing in restaurants always felt weird and almost rude to me. Getting the bill in the middle of our main course or being asked to choose a dessert while still eating our main course feels really stressful.
Agree on the espresso/coffee. I’d rather have that great cup of med roast.
I enjoy all kinds of coffee!
Kara is so adorable with the carbinara cheese balls xD
Yes!! It really is like the good old days!! I can’t tell you how happy I was to see this new TRAVEL VLOG!! You don’t realize how much you take for granted until it’s gone. So appreciative to have y’all back to traveling and making awesome stuff to entertain us all!
I love watching your videos now that we're back to Covid travel restrictions. Your videos remind me of what is so magical about international travel and why I love it so much. Thank you for giving me my "international travel fix" when I can't do it myself (for now!).
