Her scenes are SHORT and to the point. In a world of quick, quick social sharing, her videos are never slow or boring. A good many You Tubers could learn from her fast paced presentations. So give her a thumbs up. She certainly deserves it.

One of the many reasons why I love your channel is because you both seem “real” and relatable. You’re constantly doing things that are achievable by anyone. Whether we travel full time like you guys, or we work 9-5 jobs and take occasional vacations. That being said I personally like hearing about your struggles and hiccups. It doesn’t sound like complaining, it sounds like real life rather than some unachievable “perfect” life like some channels. I feel the same way about the entire 2020/2021 covid pandemic that stopped the world. It’s weird. At first I couldn’t figure out what day/month it was. I continually thought it was a month later than it actually was. But for some reason when a year hit I was like “really? When did that happen?”. I know for most people it was a very tough year, and don’t get me wrong it wasn’t easy for me, but the fact that I had to slow down and stop my life along with everyone else was kind of nice as well: I was being forced to spend time alone, and learn how to be okay with being alone. I thought I was an introvert until I was forced to be alone and I found out I love people. I learned a lot last year. We moved my sister back in with my mom and myself. If last year hadn’t happened I never would have gotten to spend the final nine months of my sisters life getting to know her. It was a blessing in disguise for me. My sister Abby passed away Saturday, May 8th after a long hard fought battle with cancer. She never gave up and she taught me more in the last nine months of her life than I learned from her in my 39 years of life. Wow! This post took a turn. I guess it’s something I needed to say.

I thought i was an extrovert before covid but after spending lots of time by myself i realised, ‘Oh man, i really like being alone’ and now im 100% an introvert. this whole video is SO relatable to anyone who has ever lived out of a vehicle! I feel like the first 15 months of my time on the road just consisted of me screaming "but WTF" in 30 different tones! Thrilled you are finding your groove just in time for summer. Ladi and I talk about what the adjustment will be like for us once our new van build is finished... When we parked the van up for a 4-month backpacking trip a few years back, we missed the van SO much. Having a cupboard full of your favorite snacks is so underrated :) I hope the next phase of your rollercoaster is one mega-climb!

The look on Kara’s face, and her slumped shoulders at minute 11:45 is so sad. She is always so upbeat and positive. You can just see how done she is. I’m glad they kept on pushing forward. Y’all are some of my favorite RUclipsrs. I found you about a month ago when I randomly came across your visit to the smallest town in America. I was hooked by minute two.
I am so envious of their upbeat attitude. Oh, I am sure we don't see their worst moments, traveling as they do there are an abundance of "WTF" moments. But their natural attitudes are really above the average person. And look at the opportunities for growth. Having to learn how to fix the van gives them a lifetime of valuable skills, and seeing the US up close as they do is such a gift. Despite all their international travel, the USA is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and I am not talking about the cities. Best part they can see it while they are young and can interact with nature. I had to wait until I am old, but in good health, still there will be no 500 mile bicycle trips for me.

"50% of the time we don't know where we're sleeping that night". Honestly one of the best perks of van life. We love that we can make such last minute decisions. And that we aren't restricted to a schedule with reservations, etc.
Come to Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area when you have a chance! I grew up traveling every summer for 4-5 weeks in a travel trailer and then a motor home with my family of 5 and a big dog? We had some awesome times and some days that were pure hell! The thing is that you have wonderful memories, laugh later at the mishaps and learn from the very few horrible adventures. Wait until you travel with children, they learn to become good travelers, but there are a few meltdowns or sick days that are rough for them to handle. I have enjoyed your videos and the adventures and wish you all the best in your travels.
*I have been beating myself up and a loathing the fact that I gained 15-20lbs ever since lockdown started because I use food as a buffer tool for loneliness and feeling sad. Your videos remind me to be lighthearted, find joy in the small things and also provides a distraction from my sprialing-critiquing mind. Thank you so much.

Kara and Nate, I discovered you not long after you started your world wide trip. It was during a very low time in my life, before the pandemic. Travel for me, at that time, was impossible. I was able to travel through you. I will not likely ever be able to travel as much as you have, but I am definitely in a better situation now than I had been when I first discovered you. Your channel was a suggestion from You Tube. To say I fell in love with you two is an understatement. I came to depend on you. Like you, I am a positive, upbeat person. But I had had an accident while bike riding on a trail here in Maryland going towards the northwestern part of the state. Your ideas have gone with me on some of the trips I have gone on here in the USA, and I am grateful. You have helped me to fall in love all over again with Our Great Country. The two of you really are the reason my boyfriend and I are planing on buying a Camper Van ourself. Just that we live in Germany and have not only Germany to explore but also whole Europe. When they were talking about their festivals- ones you videoed about where I learned so much about the culture there. I could tell you folks were greenhorns. I live in Elkhart IN the RV capitol of the world and spent my entire career in the RV industry. I handled customer service for a company early on and I could tell you amazing and humorous stories of some of the events I heard about as people experienced service issues. You guys did great! I would recemented when you travel to Indiana that you spend a day or so in Elkhart County. Believe it or not, there are things to see. Your RV travel Videos have prompted discussions between the spousal unit and myself about buying a converted Van and giving it a roll. My career experience would be tremendously helpful but i know we would still learn a bunch. Safe Travels!!!!!

I'm really glad you did this video. It's kind of a summary diary that did as much for your peace of mind as anything else. Good for you! So, OK, there are still more countries to see, but maybe you can go six months in the van and six months international. Best of both worlds.

The look on Kara’s face, and her slumped shoulders at minute 11:45 is so sad. She is always so upbeat and positive. You can just see how done she is. I’m glad they kept on pushing forward. Y’all are some of my favorite RUclipsrs. I found you about a month ago when I randomly came across your visit to the smallest town in America. I was hooked by minute two.
I am so envious of their upbeat attitude. Oh, I am sure we don't see their worst moments, traveling as they do there are an abundance of "WTF" moments. But their natural attitudes are really above the average person. And look at the opportunities for growth. Having to learn how to fix the van gives them a lifetime of valuable skills, and seeing the US up close as they do is such a gift. Despite all their international travel, the USA is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and I am not talking about the cities. Best part they can see it while they are young and can interact with nature. I had to wait until I am old, but in good health, still there will be no 500 mile bicycle trips for me.
Tbh I haven't watched much in the last year because you can tell they just hate it compared to vip airport lounge hotel suite life...understandable
@@alladreamwedreamed it was still fun to watch. I did like random videos. I got hooked on the Colorado Trail bike trip so I watched that. Ten I got hooked on their cruise to the Antarctic. I love this channel.

"50% of the time we don't know where we're sleeping that night". Honestly one of the best perks of van life. We love that we can make such last minute decisions. And that we aren't restricted to a schedule with reservations, etc.
Come to Northern California and the San Francisco Bay Area when you have a chance! I grew up traveling every summer for 4-5 weeks in a travel trailer and then a motor home with my family of 5 and a big dog? We had some awesome times and some days that were pure hell! The thing is that you have wonderful memories, laugh later at the mishaps and learn from the very few horrible adventures. Wait until you travel with children, they learn to become good travelers, but there are a few meltdowns or sick days that are rough for them to handle. I have enjoyed your videos and the adventures and wish you all the best in your travels.

Kara and Nate, I discovered you not long after you started your world wide trip. It was during a very low time in my life, before the pandemic. Travel for me, at that time, was impossible. I was able to travel through you. I will not likely ever be able to travel as much as you have, but I am definitely in a better situation now than I had been when I first discovered you.
Your channel was a suggestion from You Tube. To say I fell in love with you two is an understatement. I came to depend on you. Like you, I am a positive, upbeat person. But I had had an accident while bike riding on a trail here in Maryland going towards the northwestern part of the state.
Your ideas have gone with me on some of the trips I have gone on here in the USA, and I am grateful. You have helped me to fall in love all over again with Our Great Country.

I lived 2020 through your adventures. At times your videos helped my older brother get past his battles with cancer. They kept his hopes high to recover and travel the van life too. Thank you and may you both continue to enjoy each other as you see the world!
The two of you really are the reason my boyfriend and I are planing on buying a Camper Van ourself. Just that we live in Germany and have not only Germany to explore but also whole Europe. We go on a trip with a rental van next month to try it out and i'm already so excited.

Because of your videos, where you made us feel apart of the countries and the people , it also makes me more sad, I felt a connection because of your videos . I could tell you folks were greenhorns. I live in Elkhart IN the RV capitol of the world and spent my entire career in the RV industry. I handled customer service for a company early on and I could tell you amazing and humorous stories of some of the events I heard about as people experienced service issues. You guys did great! I would recemented when you travel to Indiana that you spend a day or so in Elkhart County. Believe it or not, there are things to see. Your RV travel Videos have prompted discussions between the spousal unit and myself about buying a converted Van and giving it a roll. My career experience would be tremendously helpful but i know we would still learn a bunch. Safe Travels!!!!!

I'm really glad you did this video. It's kind of a summary diary that did as much for your peace of mind as anything else. Good for you! So, OK, there are still more countries to see, but maybe you can go six months in the van and six months international. Best of both worlds.
