Here are a few other suggestions: -Medner Sonata-Ballade Coda -Chopin Ballade No. 4 Coda -Prokofieff Piano Concerto No. 2 (1st mov cadenza) -Scriabin Vers la Flamme (Climax) -Ravel Gaspard de la Nuit Scarbo (1st Climax)
I am currently working on the transcription of the cadenza of the first movement of Prokofiev's second concerto, which will be entitled to a video for herself alone I think. But it's terribly long, because Prokofiev wrote on 3 staves with very specific measurement indications, which makes it extremely long to transcribe all this into midi file. I hope to put online by the end of the month! Thanks :D
Rachmaninov, Piano concerto 2 (Yuja Wang) 00:00
Grieg, Piano concerto 1 (Arthur Rubinstein) 01:35
Chopin/Godowski, Study 1 (MA Hamelin) 05:00
Godowsky fuck yeah!!!
The Chopin-Godowsky étude is approaching the physically-impossible-for-normal-human-beings level, as are most of Godowsky's pieces.
At Hamelin’s tempo, yes. A little slower and it’s not as bad as people think. I think one has to try first before getting scared of it.
You gotta listen to Caleb Hu's version. It's the strictest reading of the 3/4 time signature therefore sounds more musical.

@@elmis4813 You're welcome
@@elmis4813 If you are doing the Prok 2 cadenza, could you please use the recording by Nikolai Petrov?
His performance is one of the best out there
@@scriabinismydog2439 I already started with Yuja Wang. But nothing prevents me from doing it with both!
@@elmis4813 oh yeah, Yuja is probably my second favorite so, don't worry about it!
Yuja Wang’s rendition of Rach 2 will forever stay the greatest. I still have the video saved on my folder since the original one got terminated
Godowski is such a madman
1:21 wtf
The piu vivo section of musical moment 4 by Rachmaninoff played at consistent marked tempo is almost unheard of.
Okay, I'll put it in the next episode of the serie!
Lugansky did a beautiful rendition though
Elmis I didn’t know there would’ve more. Awesome
omg you put my favorite performance EVER :D
Keep doing your job man.. cheers
Thanks :D
xavier montsalvatges sonatine pour yvette is killing off my hands with tempo and big octave jumps because my hands are small
Did Hamelin add extra lines?? Wtf how is that possible!?
it's the ossia
Hamelin played the original, not the octaves ossia, which the midi incorrectly added
Why grieg's concerto coda harder that rachmaninoff's ?
I put them on the same difficuly !
@@elmis4813 oh...
@@elmis4813 Grieg concerto coda its not really sooo hard :p
why it delayed
What in the world is that godowski thing
He composed his own arrangements of Chopin Op. 10 etudes.
Come on, Grieg is really easy, if you want anything difficult, just take Prokofiev, especially the 2nd concerto, any movement...
Maybe really easy for a piano concerto but it’s still an very difficult piece
Moszkowski op59 3rd cadenza is extremely difficult
