I only discovered you this year and I'm LOVING your content. You make maintaining a nourishing healthy lifestyle feel completely accessible and I love learning more about food (I've been cooking potatoes and letting them cool before having them in my salads for resistant starch for example!)
Your points about thought patterns and white space really hit home. I've had quite a stressful year, and I've found myself almost always having some kind of podcast or audiobook on, because I find myself caught up in ruminating and negative thinking if I don't have something to distract me. But this video has helped me realise it's not a great habit for my own wellbeing, so I think my 2025 resolution will to build in pockets of time in my day where I just have silence and space, practice letting difficult thoughts come up and try to deal with them more positively.

Great tips! I’ve been practicing putting away my phone in the morning for several hours and those are the days that are more peaceful even with our loud kids 😅. And I also started to practice doing things around the house slower and taking my time especially while cooking and it’s so effective! I’m looking forward to more of your what I eat in a day.

“White space”. I’ve never put a name to it. It is sooooo important. Without white space there is too much noise to listen to our intuition or to hear that still small voice. I am always surprised when I ask myself “what do you need today?”, what comes up. It’s not anything I learned from others or heard on RUclips. It’s just my body answering me. The other day, the response was, “eat tiny portions of vegetables and a fruit together”. Ok….not sure why but I listened and I felt my best that day.

    This was a great video!
So many great reminders to use almost as resolutions for the new year.
I have worked with several functional, integrative, naturopaths over the years and you are right on point.
I have had inappropriate sinus tachycardia for years which is rare and doing Acupunture for years and other things to try to get rid of it. It has been managed but not gone. The nervous system is huge for it. One day I hope it will resolve
Also having acid reflux issues for years even though my diet is on point and have done natural cleanses after stool sampling. It is very frustrating. Have you ever done a video on this? Thanks!!

I have had so many requests to make more videos on GERD/ digestive health, so hopefully that will be coming soon!
Thank you so much for the comment!💚
