Looked carefully at this review and while good in general it shows that these guys n girls tests so many flagships! Just look at opening apps and fingerprint sensor speed, it's clearly not very slow at all. 👌👍 Main camera took great photos too and that "too saturated" was actually started by Samsung because photos look much better that way. Not a bad phone at all. I like the glacier white model it's beautiful and offers great grip so no case needed unless you're one of those who easily drops things or phones easily without knowing why.
Though specs are average I would only go for nokia waiting for 8.1 successor with Carl Zeiss aluminium body or glass with 5g stereo speakers IPS LCD Dolby sound , 6- 6.4 inch screen
I am user of nokia G20 it works flawlessly! I must say I'm no fan of heavy games. But it's worth every penny. Not to forget it's clean interface and absence of shitty apps makes it a beautiful package. Gadgetbyte is really being blunt on Nokia......

Good review. Overall, this phone from Nokia is underwhelming indeed. Would have liked to know how good it is on network signal strength as I am often away in remote areas where mobile network signals can be very weak. Usually, Samsung phones seem to have the best network signal strength. My interest in this phone is for its very good battery life (though a 3hr charge-time is a bit worrisome), clean stock android with assured next two OS upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates (the reason I had bought Xiaomi's MiA1 couple of years ago). I am neither interested in gaming nor photography, so CPU power and camera performance in these areas isn't a deal breaker, but hope it can handle 3-4 apps in RAM. Also, I avoid buying Mediatek-based phones due to a bad experience in the past. So, the Mediatek SoC and the 3 hour charging time may be deal-breakers for me. At INR 10K this phone would've been more competitive. Lastly, the put-on accent by the presenter was annoying. Don't know why Indians feel shy speaking in English with an Indian accent. Such accents Indians pick up in their Call Centre / BPO jobs, thru "Accent training" to cater to customers in the West.

I was thinking about getting this phone as I have the Nokia 5.3. However the screen was infuriating and ending up with me smashing it into a wall. The screen unresponsive touches and sensors freaking out and pausing videos and restarting them by itself was the cause of its own death. So if this screen has unresponsive issues as well I will stay away.

Not Nokia. I had a Nokia 5 & with each Android version update came with new bugs that never got fixed. Really annoying bugs such as the password screen coming up before it is really ready to enter the password. Type in your password too soon & it says wrong password & you have to reboot your phone. Super frustrating.

Maybe their best guy Juho Sarvikas left because he saw what was coming: C, G and X series has been disappointments, all of them, maybe only X10 at 249 Euros is adequate? G20 might be good. Thanks for review. There is a mystery around nokia 5.3. phone keeps restsarting inspite of giving it to service centre. Update patch is still of may while their other phones are having June and july updates. They have not responded to tweet as well. As of now, will stay away. Got 5.3 after smooth experience of 5.1 plus. 5.3 is another story.
5.3 has WhatsApp problem, first couple of seconds the call freezes and you can't hear anything. I returned this phone and they changed the motherboard, did a reset etc. Still had same problem. Online I've seen people with same problem it's terrible.

Nokia has really lost it in recent times. If not anything else, they could have atleast stuck to the build quality they offered earlier. I am still using Nokia 6.1 after 3 years only because it still feels solid and looks premium. I am baffled as to why are they cutting down at their strong points while refusing to add more capability to their phones. All their phones below 20k price max out at 64 gb of internal memory which is absolutely criminal in today's day and age.
