Isela, you are the best, and always will‼️Everything about loomknitting, I learned it from you‼️
Some people don't know how to teach others. I am so glad you do. This is easy for beginners and not insulting for experienced loomers. Thanks for explaining why you did what you did. Loved this video.
I believe this is the best tutorial ever seen
It was really helpful to go over each row. I basically just kept pausing the tutorial as I went through it and restarting when I was ready for the next step. I've never done German short rows before.
Excellent tutorial❤️❤️ I love that you go over every row of the heel instead of showing once and skipping. It’s very helpful to see it repeated in real time. Thank you!!
pro tip: you can watch series at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
This is how you teach! Thank you! Very well explained.
You’re thoroughly teaching and showing every step in thus slowly paced video has enabled me to make booties for my grandson …. Thank you so much for your instruction… in my opinion the best on Yoh Tube
Finish the toe by passing the yarn through stitch 1 then through stitch 24 then through stitch 2 then through stitch 23 then through stitch 3 and continue this way to stitch 12 and 13. This gives a nice flat toe instead of a puckered round toe.
Amazing how you make the little cuff look like it was knitted with knitting needles!
Thanks! I have the larger looms! I just purchased the KB baby bootie and hat loom with the ergo loom pic and your baby yarn in soft green. Will try this since my Daughter-in-Law is due anytime.Haven't done any loom work in a long time since my arthritis has been bothering me. But this will be a labor of love! Thanks, for another great tutorial!
Fantastic tutorial! Clear, concise ezy to understand. Thank you 💝
I agree. This was a really clear and detailed tutorial. Thank you so much!
your instructions are flawless. the one included in my kit was not as clear andsome steps are missing that i think its a good thing that you do them. im doing the second sock and they are georgeous.
Success!!! After 8 booties I now have 1 excellent pair!!! Tension & trying different #3 yarns were the problem on heels. What yarn did those of you who made on this KB Baby Loom use? I appreciate knowing & comments if permitted. Great grandchild on the way & want to make several more pair before hand surgery (very bad arthritis & have been putting off hand surgery longer than I should have). Many thanks! 💝
I just made a pair for my cousins baby, they turned out great but maybe use a thinner yarn because thick yarn makes the boots hard lol it gets tight when knitting the heel so I had a hard time pulling the stitches over the pegs. But they turned out great.
Hi, would 4 (medium) work for this pattern? Or even a 3( light)?
im so sad i lost my booklet that came with the two looms! glad yall have videos, too.
This was a fantastic tutorial, thank you for making it so easy to follow.
Great tutorial, and I love your voice!
I like your teaching were much.
Much better directions than the directions that came with the loom.
Thank you very much! Very easy to follow for a total beginner. I see a difference between the booklet and this video, basically at the toe. This ending is easier, but I would have loved to have the instructions for the toe part, that resemble the heel. I don't dare try to understand the booklet, though.
Hi Laura, We tried to make this video the easiest for the super beginner. If you want the toe just like the heel, then completely copy the heel process, it is exactly the same on the same pegs. It is that easy.
@@kimnovak5209 thank you very much! I do love the video, though! I couldn't have done the booties without it!
Very easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. Will try for my niece who’s having her first baby at the end of November. I just subscribed to your channel.
I love this video. This is so easy to follow clear step-by-step directions
Muchas gracias por tan excelente video!... Podría indicar el número del hilo o estambre usado?. Gracias!
Excellent tutorial. What yarn did you say was used?
So pretty great tutorial!
Amazing tutorial, thank you!
...glad you liked it!
Beautiful. Thanks for the video.
Question: I have the 18” all in one loom. Do I need the 28” for larger projects? Are the gauges what makes the 2 different other than the # of pegs? Did you use a #3 baby yarn for the socks?
This was a great tutorial. Thank you so much for sharing
Awesome pattern, the heel is great. Couldn't ask for a better pattern. Love to do loom projects!
Very good video, thank you.
I first tried this like in the video with the u-wrap stitches. But it was too tight and looked weird and disproportionate. I then did the pattern again, but with u-wrap stitches and it looks much better.
Thank you iam try is you are great I can understand is must better .see someone doing .
great tutorial :) my bootie looks great except my cast on is a bit loopy whereas yours looks nice and neat.
Yep my cast on was really loose too!
I think next time I will knit flat to complete the cast on.
@@sarahwells4863 that sounds worth a shot :)
Do you have to do the k1, p1 can you just do the knit stitch?
@kblooms Oh boy, I really appreciate this. I just have one question. Why not make a simple knot at the end of the two zig-zags? I'd be wary that it would unravel with hand washing and friction of the sweet baby feet kicking with joy while wearing your work of Love. @KB Looms
Hello!
Would you please put the link of where you bought the loom? Thank you!
That is absolutely brilliant do you need a special size loom please
Yes, you need baby looms. You may find 24 peg looms but in bigger size! You need this specific sized loom for baby booties! :)
Yes this video is for KB 3/8” GAUGE 24 Peg Loom. Comes in set KB Premium Premiere Baby-Knit Looms Small Gauge 24 Peg for Booties & 56 Peg for Baby Hat
Omg what happened I did everything you said it seemed so easy but it came out huge and short it looks like it would fit my ankle and heel . I used a 24 peg loom
Did you use the knit stitch or the ewrap stitch? If ewrap, it will come out a larger size.
This was super easy to follow but for some reason the top of the sock was huge and overall it was too wide for a baby. Did I do something wrong
I had same issue
Hey thanks for the awesome video. I followed your tutorial step by step but my sock looks like will fit a baby elephant 😫. I used 24 peg loom that I also use for baby hats. Was I supposed to use something else? Please help as I want to surprise someone who is having a baby.
I use a 24 peg thin yarn loom, you can find baby loom kits at Michael’s
This tutorial is for the 24 peg loom with 3/8ths gauge! Not the normal 24 peg loom. That is probably why. There are other tutorials for baby shoes with that loom, though!
I bought the baby loom set mainly for the 12 peg and the 24 peg in it was the same as my 24 I got in another set so was the bigger loom. But I agree mine turned out huge to. The cuff is probably 5 inches across. I tried to tighten the stitch to the point I could hardly get it over the peg. It still was big?????? I’m lost
I am left handed, if I work counterclockwise will the end result be the same? Thanks
Either way will results the same outcome. I’m right-handed and have done both different ways and it shows the same results at the end
Yes!
What is the weight of the yarn? Like 4 medium?
Hello! Please tell me, how big are these socks and basic baby hat? If Skeins of 100% Meriwool
+/-100 gr | +/-3,5 oz and +/-136 m | +/-148 yds per skein
For needles of 5 mm / UK 6 / US 8
Weight: Worsted / Aran will be ok?
How do I do a angel loop or whatever it’s called I can’t figure it out
I followed the instructions exactly but used a different yarn and mine turned out like a little sack and not even close to a sock!
I am sad it's not the instruction booklet version as I have difficulty with the toe ending and was hoping seeing a solution. ,
What size yarn have you used please I'm a beginner
DK or worsted weight yarn, #3 or #4. Most yarn labels will tell you the gauge number.
@@kimnovak5209 thank you I'll give it a go.
What sizes is that
Hi, Is there a writen pattern anywhere?
Where did you get the small stitch markers thank you
Here's the link: www.knittingboard.com/silicone-rubber-stitch-markers-240-pack/
Can u make adult socks on it
Will this work on a regular 24 peg loom ?
If it has the same small gauge, 3/8" spacing.
What do u do if it’s not 3/8” mine fits my foot what do I do
How do I do premie size booties?
Also how many pegs are on the loom to make this?
What are the gauge size on these loom????please
3/8"
The pattern that comes with the looms is wrong or have you made some changes?
They are different patterns. Both are good patterns.
I have 4 by 4 ones it’s confusing for me
