NC By Rail "NCDOT Sponsered Amtrak Commuter Service uses both F59PH and F59PHI units in a special livery. You can catch them on the Thomasville, NC Railcam

On the evening of December 19th 1984, I was on a 15car Amtrak train that was carrying my entire Battalion from out of Fort Jackson SC. It was MANY of us on that train, those of us who was going North. We were going home for Christmas break. We had to return January 3rd.
Was that a special train just for your battalion or was it just a normal Amtrak with added cars

loganbaileysfunwithtrains yup!!!! we were all 18 and just out of high school. we were all in our Class A's and were being waited on hand and foot from workers on the train. It was a night to remember. Me and this Italian girl were the only one to get off at the 30th Street station in Philadelphia.

Thanks for making my day ... you are a star. I have considered a Rhododendron, but it looks like a dry area in the video and from the train list, it seems that this footage was taken in the San Juan Capistrano area which looks like a pretty dry area on Google Earth. I think your suggestion of the bougainvillea shrub is spot on. Living in an area where frost is killing all tender plants, I can forget to have this in my garden :(

Railfanning Meteorologist Productions there are many cities & towns that have a very dumb, stupid, idiotic ordnance that the train engineers can't sound the horns when they approach a grade crossing, and going through a grade crossing as well as sounding the horn when the train is arriving at a station and ready to leave a station. In Loser City Tucson, its suburbs of Maran! vail, plus in Lakeland,FL and many other cities & towns across the nation, the train engineers can't sound the train horns at all. But yet those same cities & towns don't get on those making noises with their loud music, running their motor vehicles loud & motorcycles being too noisy.

car, which means train 777 will later after 1566's trainset reverses
