You have a point there. You never know what’s going to happen when you play the Falcons, esp. IN Atlanta. BTW, I was at MB Stadium last year for the Rams-Falcons game. Your fans were wonderful to us and we thank you for your hospitality. Pls. take good care of Todd Gurley...we know he’ll be happy to be back in Georgia, but we’re really going to miss him out here in Southern California.

I'll never forget this game or the moment when Elam kicked that winning field goal. I was visiting my brother in Tampa that weekend and the game wasn't televised there, so I went to a restaurant/bar there called Beef O Brady's where I knew all the games would be on. I was able to find one other Falcons fan there and we sat next to each other, but there was a table with about five or six Bears fans right behind us. When they scored the apparent winning touchdown, those dudes started giving us all kinds of shit. Then, when Elam's kick when through the uprights, that dude and I started jumping all over each other, hugging and high-fiving. Not ten seconds later, I looked back and those Bears fans had already absconded. Gone, out the door, before we could even think to turn around and give them any shit. I hope their tab was paid. Ha ha. GO FALCONS!!!!!

I was at this game. When the Bears got the touchdown my friends walked toward the exit. I stayed at my seat with a couple of other friends. As they walked out the door the crowd erupted on the Jenkins catch. They heard it and they came right back in. I had walked up to try to catch them and they asked what happened because they heard the cheering. I told them and we went back to the seats and celebrated after the kick. What an amazing finish! I'll never forget it.

As rough as those last two seasons were, I still think Mike Smith was the best overall coach in Falcons history. As great as Dan Reeves was, no other Falcons coach has led the team to five consecutive winning seasons or to the playoffs four out of those five seasons. They just unfortunately did not capitalize on great opportunities in 2010 and 2012 to get to the Super Bowl.

So when they subsequently make a fantastic throw and then kick for 3 to win the game with 1 left on the clock the noise was absolutely insane and you could just see the people in front of me just slumped down and realize that all of the crap that had just talked was for nothing and they had a lot of egg on their face it was a pretty great moment LOL

However, once our young front seven matures another year, and if we add a solid piece or two to the D this off-season through free agency... watch out rest of the NFL! We are just that close to being as legit a contender for a title as any team in the league.

Look at those young Matt Ryan legs 🥲 wish he could’ve kept those same legs till age 40.

What's amazing is that, if Mike brown just holds Jenkins up instead of pushing him out, the game ends and the bears win

This was 2008. Pause at 2.09 and you see 54 Urlacher at the top of the screen. And what does a MLB have to do with a throw to the sidelines anyway?
