I mean i can also remember certain positions from a year or more back when i reach them in a game, and im only 2000 on lichess,so thats not really that special. And i remember these positions after having played them in bullet and blitz,so it shouldnt be that hard to recall games in classical where you think for large periods of time and have positions embedded in your brain
Interesting, engine on low depth gives better eval for 12..Qe7 than Qe8, but Daniel's argument about queen being exposed and vulnerable makes absolute sense
WoW thanks for this video I used ronger crush by the 4 pawns attack but then right after I watch your video I played vs it and completly crush my opponent so thanks again for all the content
Delighted to learn Danya used to play the Pirc! I still use it as my main weapon, but I've plateaued around 2100... Wondering if I should branch out and dig into the Sicilian or Caro-Kann... Sensei if you see this comment I'd be curious to hear why you don't play the Pirc anymore, and what you switched to?
“Not the kind of move that wins you the brilliancy prize, but the type of move that wins you the game” -Naroditsky and a lot of chess coaches (probably)
Hey danny, Im glad that you put Chattrapati Shivjaji maharaj on the thumbnail but as the four pawn attack is also called the austrian attack , some other guy also deserved to be on the thumbnail. Ig you know who right?
So, this is what it looks like when GM Danya goes for the throat (of a 22xx no less) and not wasting time to play positionally ... an absolute treat. It's like a lion toying with his kill before consuming it. Merciless and precise.
Idk if this happens to anyone else, but I have done it a couple times. When I watch one of your videos and then immediately play chess afterwards, regardless of the position I swear I hear your voice saying what's wrong or right in the position and I generally play at least 10 points higher in accuracy than normal. Am I cheating?
Also I play King's indian, and yeah Qe8 is so much better than Qe7 in almost any resulting position I have had. Learned that the hard way through hundreds of games because I am too lazy to actually learn theory lol.
The king you picked on thumbnail is great king chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj...when you come to mumbai Airport.. you'll see the name of airport name on our respected king.. Thank you danya
One time I faced 4 pawn attack playing KID. I was blown of the board so fast. After that I stopped playing KID and start playing 4 pawns attack against KID. I don’t say KID is bad, but against 4 pawn attack it is much easier to play for white than to play for black. At least in the style I enjoy playing.
in case anyone is wondering (probably nobody) Danya didn't understand my question about Qe3 instead of Nd7 (26:30). I was talking about the position at 9:25 ... Danya thinks he has to "slay one more demon" but the top engine move as I immediately knew off the bat was to go Qe3+. I didn't even have to calculate any further moves to know that it was clearly the time to go for checkmate. Tbf the position was clearly winning with literally any move and it was 2am and Danya had to go to bed so he is forgiven :) I would have liked to see that risky line calculated out in Danya's mind though.
"Yeah our opponent lost his mind" lol
That seems to happen a lot when people play against the Sensei.
He broke character to say that too
been there lol
haha that cracked me up, so random.

Danya: Lets play a sideline

What I like about Daniel is that he explains everything deeply but makes it understandable even to a 1000-1100 player like me.
Danya trying to speed it up and still manages to spill almost 30 minutes of pure gold
Hope you know how useful this content is for all of us intermediate players.
Even crazier its free.
Thank you very much Danya your content is Gold
Best free chess content in the internet!
An example of the tactic on 17:11 move Bh3 is the Tal vs Gurgenidze game in the USSR Championship, it's a different tactic but similar idea.
The way Daniel explains the positions is excellent. Always learning here.
Hope the interview went well for you Danya!

His interview at Burger King.

I have found myself in the four pawns attack on several occasions,
Think I lost every time.
Thank you Sensei
Brilliant! The Four Pawns Attack is a constant source of frustration for me. Thanks!
So impressive yet so simple
I love you danya ❤ thank you for this speedrun!
thats gay
00:15-00:29 Sensei Danya you have to speak with a lovely russian accent more often. I love it :) Ofc love your priceless vids too
Please more of this. Love seeing the 10 min versions of Kings Indian (black) and Vienna (white)!
"ready, set, lights, camera, action" is my new favorite Danya-ism
Damn Danya! Too much to learn from a single video...
Mind blowing concepts
Thank you! This position was terrifying!
The vocabulary lesson alone is worth our while!
Great video, thank you!
I always try counter attacking with c5, now I have another weapon, e5! Ty Danya
That mockup on Chucky at the start LMAO :D
You have got to step up the thumbnail game. I love this channel and more people would choose to watch it if every video didn’t look the same :)
Man this is making me love kings Indian again
Sir Danya of SC, you have been pouring out content quite rambuciously lately, and I approve.

He usually prefers the traditional e5, instead of the Sicilian and Pirc both in OTB and online
What does the Pirc have to do with this opening? Danya is never going to reply to you here. Try his streams but you'll probably get ignored there too.
@@MrSupernova111 Oh, not much... but in the video he mentions that he used to play the Pirc (which I play)
@@RobFlaxMusic . Ok. I plan to study the Pirc myself mostly to learn to deal with it as white. But I didn't see the relation. Cheers!

Where can i dwelve into kings indian theory or the four pawns attack specifically? Any good books or videos

Seeing Daniel making a non-cheesy joke is like seeing your father cry.
Can you do speed run with only one opening with white and one with black?
prefer the faster pace, nice work
Danya, thank you for the videos :)
Daniel, please teach us king's indin defense. Even though it takes 2 hours.
How incredible to see a chess battle through the eyes of a GM!
when Danya talks Kings Indian, listen up. one of the most knowledgeable people on the planet about the K.I.D.
Nice thumbnail loved it ...veer chatrapati shivaji maharaj
always a fan of chess but now fan of danny too
In 2011 you played bishop g4 against kayden troff, do you still play that line now? / is it still good??
so why are knights better blockaders than bishops?

playing against danya's kings indian is a nightmare
When I face king's Indian, pushing pawns hard in the center is usually a good plan for me at low level, so can confirm :)

Contradictry analogy. Toying with prey would be to play positionally and killing it faster would be tactical.
@@jibrankhalil4837 Yea maybe not the best analogy. Maybe toying is not the right word. Surgically and quickly ending the prey might be better.
Ready for ya Danny boy ❤
please please please do a kings indian only speedrun sometime
This line is good unless they know that after e5 dxe5 black is forced to go into a horrible endgame and suffer for the rest of the game
Why do the opponents keep collapsing so early
Is the speedrun over when he reaches his own ELO?

Even as a 1700 I forget the power of connected passers
i mean yeah 1700 isnt super high, especially where u actually use passed pawns to win often
It's not super high but a majority of players don't think they'll get there anytime soon.
