Listen. I LOVE Stratocasters probably more than anyone on the planet, seeing as I have been playing them for 57 years and my very first guitar was a 1954 Stratocaster and my second guitar was a 1964 Stratocaster. And I know the object of these videos is to market the store and particular pieces. But I sure would love to see some shows on some nice old SG Standards, or even re-issue Custom Shop versions. Just sayin' ... This, of course, is a great demo. By the way ... the pickups on this Strat were made the way they should be ... mostly flatpole, especially that THIRD pole, which they smartly buried! That allows the coil to come up, and no wonky loud plain third string! These PUPs are perfect! (Great cam work, BTW!)
You're right about the (almost) float pole pieces nad i agree with you, that's the way they should be, it's the first time i see that on 7ender pickups, i tend to do it myself on all my strat pickups, they're not vintage or valuable, no risk to cut the wire, just a push and it's done
Bridge pup sounds good Gonna have to check out your web site for specs Just sold my house LoL gonna be looking for a sweet CS strat and see how it stands up to my 65....kinda looking for a 9.5 radius or a compound 7.5 to 9.5 in my elder years
What really irks me about these relics is that the High E is just about off the fingerboard after the 12th fret on some of them! I know the real ones were like that but I wish they would correct that without having to go to a 9.5 radius fingerboard. Shouldnt be too hard for the custom shop to remedy as ALL of the originals were not like that. I remember reading an article with josh Klinghoffer about a favorite strat he owned, but could not play it on songs that needed those notes to be played! This one looked really bad on the clos up and I would never point it out if this one hadnt been sold long ago....
@@reverb508 I was shocked as a strat is such a mediocre, vanilla instrument with no real workmanship needed. I can't believe anyone would be dumb enough to pay that kind of money for one
I’d bet anything you never played one. Nothing wrong with that but sure a strat is a strat but a custom shop versus a production one is night and day. The devils in the details and if your serious about playing and want a guitar which has a killer tone it’s well worth it. I thought the same until I played one against my fender ultra, fender American professional, fender performer, and even fender standard. NIGHT AND DAY!!!
@@danielleelizabeth9417 played hundreds of strats. Own one special 89 Strat plus and a special squire Strat as well as top level Les Pauls. I think they are great instruments. But killer tone is mostly from high quality amps and then great technique and lots of practice. The guitar itself I find through a great amp and pedals have minor defferences for the price maybe 10% better
The camera man honestly needs more credit. amazing videography and shots man!
Agreed. The production person or persons does fantastic work.
yeah, thats where these guys beat normans videos. Also the guy playing here sounds just as good as lemmo imo :O very inspiring playing
Pro tip : you can watch series on Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies lately.

Love the new intro! Great playing as always! Sounds killer
Really professional, love it too.
My main guitar is a ‘63 CS Strat in surf green. Would not ever sell it - killer Strat!
Nice, you’re wearing one of our Fox hats!
Get the man a few in the post
Came here for the Strat quack; STAYED for the quack‼️👍🏼👍🏼
looks daphne blue to me
Playing is epic.
To me, the Morgan shines with single coils more than humbuckers :)
Applause!!!!
Why are all the '63 CS strat demos done with out out-of-tune guitars?

I agree, I hate fucked up string alignment.
Me want 😅
The pretentious aspect would be the relic -ing.
4k USD for a strat!
They're not forcing you to buy it. If you want something cheaper, Fender has you covered.
