      CRA employees have not increased by 40% - not sure where you get that figure from. Do you know the CRA call center metrics? Of course you don't. Here's some inside info: for the Individual Income Tax Enquiries Line, number of calls have gone up by almost 20% since the pandemic (due mainly to emergency benefits), and the average calls handled per day per agent have gone up as a result. Mandating work from office only forces employees into old government buildings (some have rats and literally have rat traps beside each cubicle). If you think employees are more productive in that kind of environment, then you got some screws lose.

      You want your taxes going to government buildings 🤔

    • @Eshtoc
      @Eshtoc 16 дней назад +2

      So, I'm a little confused about this one. You are asking what your taxes are paying for, so I assume that you either would like to be taxed less, or for your tax dollars to be spent more effectively or efficiently. So then why is it that right now, your demand is that the government spend more of your money less effectively? Is it just that you hate these workers and you're willing to pay more tax dollars because you think it's going to upset them? If the government is able to spend less money on buildings and office space, it can save you money. I know, that's kind of a weird concept, but it's true. Fewer buildings and offices to pay for does result in a reduction in cost. If there are workers who can and have been working effectively in many departments either from home or under the current hybrid model, does it make more sense to spend more money to ensure that they do the same thing in an office? Is your priority that the work get done effectively and efficiently, or is your priority that your tax dollars be spent ensuring that asses are in seats in specific locations, with the work getting done being the secondary consideration?

      @Zam1Fear 15 дней назад +2

      Actually, performance is VERY closely monitored by several means including, but not limited to, team leaders, managers, consultants, directors, and multiple virtual interfaces that automatically calculate production for each employee based on the completion of tasks in several secured software that they are required to use from the start of each workday to the end of each workday.
