4:03.....Morales Williams might have set a world record in the indoor 400m it the twits had have used electronic blocks as they were suppose to. As it stands it is the unofficial record. Well, maybe next year Chris...A lot of work on this one Jumpman! Awesome job as always. Cheers from Canada!
It was a great season this summer. Tebogo's 300m WR is seriously underrated, he over took prime Usain Bolt, Michael Johnson and Wayde van Niekerk! Mahuchikh was the womens highlight of the year, 2.10 could be a generational mark if Mahuchikh doesn't improve it in the coming years
It was certainly an epic season, Olympic year, 22 WR's and that was in a year where Ryan Crouser was recovering from injury and Yulimar Rojas was out due to injury/operation. Add to that the improvements from numerous 800m runners that look like they are trying to knock Rudisha down to about 5th all-time in the next season or two. Hurry up indoor season, I need more.
I can think of a few marks that are safe from the current crop of athletes, the men's and women's 100m and the women's 400m and 800m which I don't expect to see broken in my lifetime.
"weight throw" I have never even heard of that event. Also men's high jump record isn't getting touched for at least five years more. There was no one in junior champs this year who looks that promising. I'm not talking about anybody who looks like they could do it. I'm talking about nobody in the men's even demonstrating the high ceiling effect where they're inconsistent but have some giant clearances over lower heights. Nobody.
Can't find me in the juniors. I got this don't worry. More seriously you're right haha. Scottie looks promising as a world contender tho. And I think Hamish has a 240 in him no doubt.
Mahuchikh's high jump was absolutely amazing. Its a shame the unusual events world records dont mean much because they are hardly run by anyone ever, they should be included in competitions and turned into regular events and give the records meaning. No reason why people wouldnt enjoy watching a 300m race compared to 200m, or a 2 mile compared to a 5000m Pretty remarkable year Sydney setting new boundaries like some kind of alien, the gains she has made are clearly part the result of very professional approach to setting the right pace over each section of the race but that probably only ever accounts to a few tenths, many have doped before so doping clearly isnt the rest of the gap maybe a few tenths but even if you entertain that and super hi tech training where is the other half a second coming from? its like watching a magic trick, its spectacular, its really good I do enjoy the guide lights, they clearly help athletes manage their pace much better but its clean as can be! Jumpman do you think guide lights would help someone try to break the 100m world record? instead of the side of the track the light can run across the track for everyone to chase down, itd be a great visual for the audience too. I reckon the 100m record will fall as soon as they correct the starting reaction time, thats a tenth right there.
@@jamezkpal2361I’m sorry, and at what age did the second highest jumper in history (Mutaz Barshim) clear 2.43? Oh, right. 23! We didn’t see him jump any higher.
LET’S GO, JUMPMAN HAS UPLOADED
I see Jumpman, I click. Bro’s about to carry the sport on his back with his offseason videos frfr!
This is the first year I've been following athletics since I was competing as a teen, you've got me hooked again!
Thank you for not resorting to clickbait and for using a proper thumbnail and description for the video!

Not using proper eligible blocks for an NCAA final is insane tbh but luckily most people accept it as the WR time to beat
@@ToadStool125 pretty sure it was SEC final, but still very very poor for unarguably the best conference in the NCAA.
Men's 800m and 1500m also popped off this year but sadly no WR
Love that shot across the bow of all the Bolt fanbois at the end there, lol!

Really could've been a monster year with rojas and crouser at full force
This was an amazing year for athletics.
Nicely put together.
I would literally listen to you read the phone book. You never miss with a video.
My friend sent me a screenshot of this comment hahaha. Goated bro
@@JumpmanTF you already know you're my favorite! 😤 haha good stuff 😂
Now we have the women's marathon world record too
These guys are epic! makes me want to do something to my life
If we thought track and field was exceptional this year, we haven’t seen anything yet. Bring on Tokyo 25!
Big calls!

Mom, jumpman uploaded a fantastic video again😳
I didn’t know that Lance Deal’s record was broken. I know the dudes brother and it was a crazy WR to see
Great video again. Shout out to the new world record holder on the track...... carbon plated super foam shoes 😂😂😂.
you should have ranked them would have been better, anyway great video.
I was thinking about it, but no where keeps tracks of all the world records in a singular year once they're beaten. So historical video it is.
Hey did you only include individual ones or did you forget about the mixed 4×400 US world record?
Love to see it. Here's to 2025 WRs

The mixed relay
The 200m WR going next year Tebogo gonna break it ...😂😂
Just waiting for him to run a very fresh race and oh boi it gonna go..

How is it a world record when their are only two of us ?
?
usain bolt effect is a super power
Not sure I'd give any attention to indoor events.
Ironic that the narrator sounds Australian which doesn't do indoor athletics
