I tried both and prefer the EDT. The vanilla seems kind of cold or cool to me. And I like this. The EDP is much warmer and more on the woody side. Also a nice scent, but I really enjoy the EDT.

I’m one of those who struggle with vanilla and think of the edp as my favorite vanilla. That’s right on! I am a big fan of Diptyque. Sweet video.

You are a hidden gem. I've watched too many fragrance reviewers, and I can say their non-biased descriptions made me understand fragrance completely differently. I've sampled Diptyque line and can say you are very good at translating the scent profile. Thank you!

Yes they do smell very differently, had them both on my wrists for a couple of days a couple of times, and for me there was no doubt about the choice: EdP! i found it way more masculine and reacted better with my skin

Only ever owned a bottle of the edp. Which.....I ended up selling years back. 😄 Honestly can't even remember what the edt smells like! But you certainly make it sound more interesting Iga. 🤓 Lovely to see you again! 🤍❤

So it didn't work for you, I see....To be completely honest, I don't wear Eau Duelle that often, I have quite a few vanillas that I find superior. But whenever I give it ago, I never regret. Kisses💋💋

i much much much prefer the edt. as you said, they are very different and the ambroxan is clearly overdosed (to my nose) in the edp.

I don't mind ambroxan, but indeed at some point they smell like two different scents. 😀

I tried both of them last year at neiman marcus and I decided to go with the edp because it stays longer on my skin and for that price point I think the edp is worth it!!!😀

It is slighly more longlasting on me too, but the difference isn't versy significant, on my skin at least

I prefer also the edt with the spicy notes. The edp looks like Nuit et Confidences by Goutal to my nose

Yesss, yess and yess. I tried Goutal blindly recently and I said it smelled like a love child of Eau Duelle and Spirituese Double Vanille to me.

Can I ask how many hours does the EDT last?

On me it's usually around 8-10 hours, days on fabrics.

I've sampled the EDT and EDP on my skin and I have to say, I am definitely keen on getting the EDT one of these days! I feel like it can easily take me from day to night year-round. 🫶🏻
