Anyone planning to do this should stop right now... And go find a decent program or a trainer..
This program won't work without clen and ana.
@@mattsalon7007 depends on what you want to achieve.
My god this trainer is real. Credit goes to this guy. Care so much about functional training and, just wish he incorporate more external rotation
@baby bean what I meant was that the trainer focus on making her moving more fluently rather than just toning her body and building some booty. And Functional Training is not just about exercise you actually do in everyday life, there are complimentary exercises to fix your posture such as the bands pullapart, Y raises to fix your posture thus allow for an more unrestricted movement throughout.
The final cap for all that is: he's focusing on training her for movement not just bodybuilding.
Ye,its good, wish he would stop rolling their IT-band though :P
@@mylo9116 actually this workout was shit.. seriously.. and as for her butt... She has bad insertion... Basically a genetic flat ass that squats won't help. She would need implants or fat to make it grow. Someone would have to be in bad shape to get results from what I saw in this video.
@@jonatanolsen37 haha yes! I double checked to see if it was on the lateral Quad but no it is actually on IT band.
The workout was decent and I am sure in the other days he had her doing upper body pull and lower body push to compliment this session.
Actually this guy is a terrible trainer. This entire workout was nonsense. A bunch of weird accessory/warmup movements and very little training.
After I saw Brie Larson in Capt Marvel, I was inspired to work out because I loved how her body looked. I’ll never be a bikini model so those types of videos didn’t inspire me. brie looked strong and healthly in a relatively attainable (with hard work) sort of way, it’s so motivating. Thank you for posting this.
exactly why i was looking for this video! Her back is just amazing!
Have you seen her body? Just average
Darryl Lowe the men talking shit either have little to no muscle or are just fat fucks, we love to see it
@@fernydyke so I'm fat because I'm telling the truth
Darryl Lowe what truth? please be delusional elsewhere
The most important lesson to be gleaned from this is that you too can charge celebs absurd amounts of money without actually knowing what you're doing.
Thank you! This is a terrible workout, but people here are all praising him like he’s the second coming of Christ. Just goes to show how easily people will part with their money
Exercise science tells you not to stretch before workout, only after. And using a foam roller for warming up is pretty unorthodox 😂
Guys, she’s supposed to have an athletic physique built for work, not an hourglass figure made for Instagram aesthetics.😂
baby bean if that’s what yoga moms look like where you’re from lucky you.😂
@baby bean You do realize that "athletic" can cover a range of physiques right? A cross-country runner isn't going to look like a weight lifter, and a swimmer isn't going to look like a track and field athlete. Build depends on what sport we're talking about, but they're all still athletic. She has slender muscles, but based on those exercises they're still strong.
@@ULTRAOutdoorsman First of all, I can't believe you're comparing a real life human to a drawing. But if we're going to go there: you do realize that she has been drawn in vastly different ways in the comics, right? For example: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/S/cmx-images-prod/Item/672995/672995._SX360_QL80_TTD_.jpg
Not hourglass at all. But lets use your logic for a sec, shall we...?
Here's a pic of Wonder Woman in the comics: media.fromthegrapevine.com/assets/images/2016/6/wonder-woman-DC-75.jpg.480x0_q71_crop-scale.jpg Yet no one said shit about Gal Gadot's physique.
Oh, and Logan! www.expertcomics.com/images/products/Comics/69053-big.jpg Did Hugh Jackman get shit for *his* physique?
So durp yourself, my dude.
Steven Hunt Awww, did the little man-baby snowflake get triggered because his argument was invalidated? 😢 But seriously, my point flew right over your head. *Cap Marvel is drawn completely differently depending on the artist, so we can't say any one interpretation is the "correct" one* . And let's be clear... this video was how to get functional strength, not how to look like a vixen. If you really need to get your jollies looking at voluptuous women (like that photo you linked earlier), there is an entire industry just for that. Meanwhile, the rest of us will watch Marvel movies for more than the eye candy. Edit: Also, you never answered my questions about Hugh and Gal... how convenient.
SaBr 417 please don’t tell me you watch Marvel for more than eye candy. You couldn’t be watching for the story or acting. Even character development is pretty binary. (Not including Black Panther and Infinity War).
Though as you can tell by the popularity is wasn’t written for the purveyors of cinematic arts but for the masses.
The one kudoni have to give is that the well written ones (Black Panther and Infinity War) could not have become popular without the clout of the cheesy franchise before it.
omg the advice about using isometric movements to be able to build up to the normal stuff is AMAZING I'm so happy I watched this
Doing that many isometrics in one workout really isn’t that great. To strengthen the muscles needed to do the pull up as quickly as possible, it would be far better to do assisted full pull ups using bands or the assisted pull up machine. Then move on to eccentric pull ups. That way you train in the full range of motion of the pull up, and use the muscles involved in the pull up with movement instead of just contracting isometrically. Those isometrics aren’t really bad, there’s just more efficient ways to progress faster.
@@brandonbaldwin8567 I'm sure he had many variables in the program. This is just 1 program he got her on and most probably doesn't want to give too much information away as I am sure he is charging over $100 an hour.
Andrew The Transformer Spot on there, he’s just showing the fancy stuff to get views, not the workout which is actually helping people progress the quickest. I guess you can’t read into it too much as it’s one workout on one day for one individual, but the problem is people will read into this and do the workout thinking this is perfect for them.
@@brandonbaldwin8567 Did you try any of the exercises in the end?
nothing has ever made me feel worse about my body than the comments. Her legs and butt look great. Why are there such high expectations for womens bodies? Not everyone can grow a butt like Kim Kardashians and people in the comments say Brie looks out of shape because of such little imperfections.
That’s just the way it is with superheroes.
male superheroes-Broad shoulders, large biceps, dorito-shaped upper body, v-line, pronounced Jawline(optional), etc.
female- slim waist, skinny but lightly toned arms, sizable breasts, sizable butt, general hourglass figure, Feminine beauty face, flawless hair, etc.
These people are acting as superheroes. They’re supposed to showboat this fantasy of overly masculinized and overly feminized heroines and heroes, so don’t feel insecure about it, because it’s literally part of their job, part of their CONTRACT to look the part, and considering the criteria I just mentioned above, I can, indeed, see why Captain Marvel may not fit the bill for many people. I’m not saying *I* don’t like Captain Marvel’s lack of booty. I really don’t give a damn. I can just merely deduce why some people would disapprove of her body, and I think it’s very important to understand the people who you don’t agree with. It enlightens you.
you might not have seen her latest movies, but in them she tries (and fails) to portray a superhero, not a junkie.
I'm sure you're just as critical of the men's bodies as well...
@@angelomendoza6666 no one's ever complained about spiderman's (and other less muscly superheros') skinny build though🤷🏼♀️
meri Probably because they are near perfectly portrayed as they were in the comics. Spiderman is usually a young high school student who secretly has abs underneath. Now, let’s look at Captain Marvel. She has boobs and an ass. In the movie, she lacks an ass, therefore people will complain.
This looks really hard! I would like to try these moves out, he seems like such a good trainer! Brie looks awesome and she got very strong!

How’s it goin for you
Matthew McConaughey has a lost brother.
maybe he can hold your purse for you while you shop for a new dress
I'm a bit worried at how the trainer is not picking up the poor form Brie has in some of her workout videos. Like the glute bridge on bench. Sure, you can press much more weight when not going for full extension, but other than that it looks cool, you get don't get quite as much 'gain' from it and can even seriously harm yourself. Also her knee positioning is awkward at times, which could mean serious injuries at some point.
This doesn't have anything to do with the way she looked; she looks absolutely great and definitely deserves a cookie!
Lisa B agree her ankles didn't look very strong at times but hopefully she continued working on fundamentals long after filming!! Ready for the next one lol.
You base their entire working relationship on ONE short video?
You're a bit worried about that, are you, Lisa B? I don't think you should spend any of your time sitting around worrying about Brie's position on the glute bridge or whether or not her knees are positioned correctly. Try to pick up the pieces and move forward in spite of the fact that her grip on the bar may not have been exactly as you think it should have been. It will be hard at first, but in time you will think about it less and less and one day you will have inner peace again. God bless you. Never give up.

EXCELENTE EXPLICACIÓN PROFESOR,DESDE COLOMBIA SALUDOS
I'll have to take it in stages, but there is some great information here. Thank you!!
I personally train for strength not hypertrophy, so it’s nice to see a trainer building a set program to work strength instead of gains
This is a terrible program for both strength and hypertrophy
When you go home to recover from this, especially if you hit the gym another hour in the afternoon, what does that entail? Shower/sauna? nap + protein shake? 3 ibuprofen? Just wondering if the recovery is structured somehow? Thanks for any info!
Why would you take ibuprofein? And the answer for that is just go about your day, no magic tricks really help with recovery. Protein is a good idea though as you need to have it for muscles to grow
The thing with ibu for muscle pain (not real injuries or other medical issues) is that you don't notice as much how tired you are and overestimate your working capacity which can lead to your body breaking down or you getting really hurt.
I'm not general against pain meds but taking them for pure muscle soreness is just unnecessary and may even lead to you being ore prone to injuries.
Naps, tons of good quality food ( veggies, protein, micronutrients, food thatmakesyou feel happy) maybe icebaths and massages....
Arnold recommends tart cherry as anti-inflammatory. Try that instead of ibuprofen, aspirin or paracetamol (NSAID) ...
I love this channel, "it really makes you think that working out isn't that difficult!" I say as I sip my chocolate milk in my comfy chair, second day straight.

@@ULTRAOutdoorsman Bret Contreras has research on glute activation for different movements. Hip thrusts are a great booty builder if your genetics don't sabotage you.

A. Hope her knee position improved. B. The dude struggles imagine her ploughing through this. Fuark yeah!
Looking at her in the movie, she is one of the only few female superheroes or female actresses that actually look the part and aren't that Hollywood agenda of what a female should look like. It made me happy as I am an athletic built girl as well and love to see woman being empowered through make their bodies stronger and more fit.
Wow! What an insult to Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Gal Gadot and other female actors.
I agree, this is a bad shill comment.
No, she doesn’t look the part. She’s an actress who has an audience. Her JOB is portray a fictional superhero like in the comics. Just look at the comics. There are super masculine and super feminine heroes. Do they look natural? No! Do I want them to look natural? No! Wanna know why? Because it’s FICTION!
angelogabriel mendoza yeah, because marvel movies are super keen on comic book accuracy... she is trained and looks like a woman who was trained to be a pilot and a soldier. Which is story accurate
Brie Bernier
So you’re happy a “superhero” looked below average to make you feel better about yourself. How cute. And it’s a Brie, how fitting.
The trainer is greaaat!!! He took his time to actually know what the actress needs in order to be in character. He really knows his stuff.
Why the knees up on the pull ups? I didn't think that was good for the posterior chain.....
I'm assuming it activates the core. Could be wrong, I haven't tried this....yet :)

According to some the insecure men’s comments under this video, you need to have a big butt to be a superhero. Can’t believe these people are the future generation.
@@callummason6589 The strongest are the muscles needed for your jaw to move. The only reason your glutes are strong is because it's the biggest muscle, do you understand biology?
Well, a superhero body is slightly different from a “fit and functional” body. Why do I say this? Because a superhero body is meant to be showcased and seen by the audience, so it’s focusing more on the appearance rather than anything, really. This is why superhero bodies for men usually have broader shoulders and give that dorito shape, while the women get a bigger booty and boobs. It’s FOR SHOW. It’s part of the entertainment.
well seeing as the glutes are the powerhouse and ALL male and FEMALE athletes have big glutes you would say that YES you have to have a big butt to be a superhero
Then why did they use a butt double in some scenes for Captain Wahmen?
