I do the same thing counter balancing with water bottles on the front. Honestly I think I could go for a running vest style pack someday. Love your setup!
I noticed you listed the Talenti Jar in the eating section but missed it in the video. Something I really like are the Talenti Ice Cream containers. The fun part is emptying them so I have something to use for cold soaking. My favorite is for breakfast , one pack of instant oatmeal ( assorted flavors) with 1/3 to 1/2 cup of old fashion Oatmeal with dehydrated milk( At times I include some Raisins or dried Cranberries ) , Everything is pre-packed in Zip lock Snack bags. At night I add it to the Talenti container , some water , shake and set aside till morning. I could used a freezer bag but I know the jar will not leak. My evening meal is the Zip Lock Freezer Bag Cooking Style. Clean up is simple , lick the spoon and toss the used freezer bag in the trash bag.
I was surprised by the large sleeping mat! I’d like to get hold of a thermarest prolite small self inflating pad at 350 grams, but nobody seems to have them in stock over here.
How did you attach those bottle holders to your Kumo? I have the Bottle Rocket and they slide down my straps. GG says I should sew in a D-ring...is that what you did?
Those bottle holders are from Z packs but I also have the bottle rocket from GG. Basically, I just have the top strap over the top of the across the chest clip. Sometimes the weight of it pulls it down but it’s pretty easy to just slide back up. I suppose it would be easy enough to actually just so the top of the bottle rocket to the shoulder strap itself
Sort of. Borrowed the idea from this pair I purchased then modified to improve comfort and walking . www.garagegrowngear.com/products/imago-by-mayfly-ultralight-equipment?variant=40917642117307¤cy=USD&
Thanks so much I have a Kumo also….hike on!
Thank you. This is in my view the better of the "whats in my pack" videos that I've seen. Tyvec shoe covers ordered. Pondering a Nitecore headlamp.
Loved that ribbon sole sandal solution!
That’s my daddio! I wonder who filmed the video, they did a great job ;)
Great job on the video. Glad to see you making them!!

Really great video! I didn't know about the EE Rain kilt - that might be the answer I was looking for. Thank you for sharing!
Camp shoes are hilarious also chest pad.
