the JLTV is already in service
In small quantities
Only 2000 vs 140000 of the humvees
very small numbers, but many different versions are coming soon.
@@ThinBlueLineGuardianno way😟
@@Fit_soldier yup, electronic warfare platforms, anti-air platforms, HQ platforms, Recon platforms and many more
Griffin variants are for the XM30 MICV, which is expected to carry a 35mm, maybe as big as a 50mm autocannon, but they’re the same program (Griffin is only one competitor, alongside Rheinmetall’s Lynx KF41 as the potential future M30) The 105mm assault gun *IS* the M10 Booker, there’s not two separate light tank entries. Plus a few of the vehicles have already entered service like the JLTV, the first AMPV, first M270A2, even the first Typhon Battery is in service. The ACV is the Marine Corps replacement for their older amphibious AAVP7, and the first ones are also already in operational service.
Actually the cannon that they are adopting uses a straight wall 35mm casing with a 50mm high explosive projectile I forgot the designation of the auto cannon just looked up that it was built by Northrop Grumman
@@danielsnook7362 How do you put a 50mm projectile through a cannon that takes 35mm casings? You can't. They are using (or planning to use) the NG XM913 Bushmaster that is a 50mm chain gun.
Edit and while we are at it. The MPF winner was the M10 Booker...they are not distinct.
@@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 considering the grumman's official interview says exactly what I did brother Id rather believe the business representative
@@jimsackmanbusinesscoaching1344 and yeah if the xm913 used a 50 mm casing it'll be too damn massive for a ifv
@@danielsnook7362 As I thought the link got deleted by RUclips. Simple enough google XM913 and look at the Northrup Grumman page on it. To quote that page: "Northrop Grumman's XM913 50mm Bushmaster® Chain Gun® is in production and designed to be the primary weapon on the U.S. Army’s XM30, providing increased lethality, accuracy and range for stationary and fire on-the-move capability."
The MRLS is back :D
I love this thing since I first saw it in C&C
Same here! Its MLRS by the way. 🙂
MLRS is superior to the hyped HIMARS, which has only half the firepower, less protecion and has less all round mobility due to havingwheels instead of tracks.
@@nationalsniper5413 oh thx didn't see the spelling mistake 🤙
Would be a mistake to think that all these vehicles are a waste of tax money. Preparedness is the key to survival in the era of a new cold war.
IFVs like the Griffin shouldn't be armed with large 120 MM guns . . . the heavy gun severely limits Griffin mobility . . . and as we've learnt from the ongoing Russia Ukraine War that in current day warfare mobility has become a top priority . . . more so incase of moderately armoured IFVs . . . the M10 Booker is a light tank not an IFV or APV . . .
What is the griffin weight?
Coulda sworn they said a 105mm gun that can be swapped out with 50mm cannon
@@LSmoney215 46 ton - 49 ton (basic specifications) . . .
I'd still call the M10 an assault gun not a light tank even though i admit it does look like a light tank. It's supposed to be used like a german StuG in WW2. Think of it as an air-mobile, turreted, StuG III.
@@davidhuffman8352 the Stug III was a nice piece of kit . . . it's tracks were a copy of that of the M1 Sherman light tank . . .
isnt the ampv in service???
The M10 Booker is a light tank. It fits all criteria . It is a tracked armored vehicle with a 360 degrees rotatable closed turret with a large caliber gun for direct fire. So it is a tank. It is however lightweight (compared to an MBT) and has relatively light armor (compared to an MBT). So it is a light tank.
However the M10 is undergunned with only a 105mm instead of 120mm.
My understanding, for what it is worth, is that the US military does not want to classify it as a light tank out of the concern that someone will then try to use it as a tank. For the very reason that it is under armored/armed to take on other tanks.
They want it used as a fighting vehicle with a big punch.
What about dark eagle LRHW (Long range hypersonic weapon)
typhoon is already in service
No it's not only deployed in Taiwan and still knocking of the kinks
@@LSmoney215 have been introduce during BALIKATAN 2024 exercises,
The DoD cannot convince anyone that the M10 is anything except a light tank.
The JLTV is already in service and has been for years
Gryphon/ XM30 should carry a 57mm gun with twin Javelin and stinger lauchers on each turret cheek. Carry a 40mm automatic grenade laucher and either a 20mm gun or a .50 gatling gun.
FPV drons: Oh, ya-amy!
Somebody knows what tank is that at 00:20 seconds
Model for a tank that could potentially replace the abrams. Armed with a more powerful gun and armor and is also lighter called the OMT.
It's funny how modern style is just sharp angles and straight lines.
Maybe the Cybertruck is just ahead of its time because every military vehicle is starting to look like it's got those PS1 graphics lol
I don't know if it's more sharp due to the styling, but usually sharper edges deflect radar waves better than blunt surfaces. Probably a stealth thing more than looks.
M10 Booker's+TRX Shorad s...
Hilux with Ma Deuce 😊
LAV and armoured vehicles armed with A10 Gatlin guns turrets and light vehicle s armoured with Mini 134quad Gatlin guns turrets...
Fpv дрон за 500 долларов: жжжжжжжжжжж бум.
Bmp and t-80?😂😂😂😂
And thats when you realise that all of that is mostly useless: you have to adapt to your enemy's firepower on the go. Russia supposedly had the best tanks in the world (which maybe is true but if you have only a few, they're useless) and, they found out that ERA and all that armor is useless, when you can just weld some metal plates to the exterior and have the same result against FPV's for cheap. You can never know what's gonna hit you and being flexible is the key to victory (and not overly spending on developing even more expensive technologies)
Prediction they will be expensive they will be complex to the point where 25% to 75% of vehicles will be deadlined at any given moment and they will not even come with in sight of a single victory of note in a war.
They just google AMPV and use the first results in the video. 😂
Yet the Rheinmetall AMPV is a completely different vehicle…
Do your research. 🙈
What is use of tanks if they can be taken out by $5000 worth of drones?
Modern USA next gen arms are even looking like Russian old arms 😁
Please give one example.
'
that great american arms weapons...
keep up american company must make many more better bigger powerful strong ger arms weapons
Sell it for scrap
The Ukrainian troops actually using USA military hardware are not as enamored as the military industrial complex that sells it to taxpayers.
e
First
The cost of one tank is equal to a house with 500 apartments, why so many tanks when there are tens of thousands of homeless, desperate people in San Francisco who need state help, when the United States already has the largest army on the planet, but the last time only the Japanese attacked in Pearl Harbor?
Nothing changes the Russians will continue to advance as well let's find a way to end this foolishness
Russians? They cant even afford a new tank? What drugs you use? Id stop em in all seriousness. There is a reason china is now 2nd and Russia 3rd lol
😂😂😂😂 they can invade Ukraine while their population diminished becoming Chinese puppet funny thing your not in Russia as fodder ??
Ask Putin.
What about the future of Russian army
They need help 😂
1. Modernization program for the T54 for front line service.
2. Glass bottomed ships for new Russian navy so that Russians can see old Russian navy
3. Body armor for back only to protect Russian Soldiers from being shot in the back by Russian Officers
4. Two-in-One combat uniform/ body bag for ease and convenience of stacking Russian bodies like cord wood
It is destroying everything "game changing" that the west has and they even chased the Abrams completely off the battlefield in less than 2 months.
@@fox19delta21 don't forget shells over tank to hold turret down lol
Russia will not modernize the military
Lmfao, the future? Why they all old 60's-80's designs than? Lmao 😂
😂😂Your so educated bro 😂😂
Ridiculous narrator. Avoid.
Tanks and aircraft carriers are history
That is a massive over simplification
Pour les porte-avions peut etre, encore que , pour les chars, la preuve que non, a moins que tu ne sois pas au courant de la guerre en Ukraine ?
No they. Are not
@@LSmoney215 70 million dollar tanks taking out in Ukraine by $500 drones...
@@Breas101470 million, where did you get that number from , Abrams are 10 million and Ukraine received the most basic ones without the high tech that's in Sep3 versions.

Russian army : 50 billions $ spent... 10000 superior tanks 100 jets 15 submarine

Hows the T14 and the SU57 going?
How's the Black Sea fleet doing?
Or the new individual troop bodyarmor?
And how are those cool tanks with the flying turrets?
I think you should cahnge those sub numbers because all russian warships become subs in a battle lol
