I have the Stelvio 2.0T. You come out of a corner in the proper gear, with the twin scroll turbo spooled up, acceleration is exactly like a V8. It rocks. Just got back from the Tail of the Dragon. It rocked. Not sure you know exactly how to make this perform. But all good here. Kudos good sir, a good review👍👍👍

Nice review. I'd ditch the music, you don't need it. I think it sounds pretty great for a 4cyl. Far better than the 718, and there are some good aftermarket exhausts that give it the sound it should have stock. That said, I wish they had a 6cyl in the range to compete against the 340i, c43 and s4. Nice to see content out of victoria!

Whoever told you the flat bottom sports steering wheel was for legroom, please go back to them and explain that it's specifically for leverage with one hand while going through tight corners. A racing technique while pushing the wheel you feel the weight of the steering and can adjust your input or "balance" the car through a corner. Therefore, these types of steering wheels are found predominately in sports cars, etc, etc

It's mainly for style in a road car. There are some advantages for ingress/egress, esp. with cars that have high seat bolsters, because you can more easily slide you legs under. Also, a lot of guys find they don't have enough leg room under the steering wheel when seated. Whatever you may think, that's what the general consensus is among drivers.
In a race car (particularly formula) they don't bother with the 'top' or 'bottom' of the wheel, because the steering doesn't turn much, and space is extremely tight.
I guess you could hold onto the flat bottom, some people also use it as a guide to tell how far the wheels are turned.
I used to have a Gen I Miata with a huge Nardi wheel, non-adjustable steering height. It was hard to heel and toe because there was no clearance for my thighs. You don't find these issues with typical SUVs and such because there are so many adjustments and there's more overall space.

Alfa DNA, N is not normal mode. It is Natural. A is not all weather it is Advanced Efficiency which is like eco mode. All weather is in the 4C. The large wheel in the middle is the rotary pad and someone already talked about the purpose of the flat button steering wheel so I won’t touch that.

    280hp from 2.0L is like your 5.0L V8 from 2000

Good review the Alfa is amazing, i disagree with what you said about the acceleration you need a few lessons from a Alfa Romeo driving instructor.
