I met Freddie at a J cole concert at the house of blues in Chicago. I was 18-19 I think and my dumbass saw Freddie and yelled out yo Freddie! And approached him and and all his boys turned around and looked at me crazy 😂 I said I’m a big fan man keep doing ya thing. And he said thanks man I appreciate that, shook my hand and walked off. Much respect to this dude!

The video/song for Crime Pays already exceeded my expectations, so i think we good. I mean come on. Its Madlib (and Freddie!). Madlib's colab albums stand up to the standards of listenability of his solo work... Where the instrumentals by themselves are an experience. And with Freddie ontop, its just icing on the cake.
