Considering how much of a black sheep Mirabel was in her own family and even how with Abuela & Isabela both treated her throughout the entirety of Encanto (2021), can you blame her for wanting to run away from her own family & home after what happened?
Honestly, Mirabel should have never been found. I rather have her running away, never getting found, and have new family and friends that act like more family to her than her actual family, and then I'll have Antonio find Mirabel 5 or 10 years later.
No, because her parents, Uncle Bruno, and cousin Antonio were angels and her sisters, other cousins, and aunt and uncle weren’t bad but they were lead down a bad path. But if there is anybody she should’ve ran away from forever, it’s her Abuela.
You got that right. She was better off away from them and the toxicity that her Grandmother had over them. They didn’t deserve they’re powers to return to them anyway.

She had every right to leave and I kinda wish she had never returned cause they didn’t deserve their powers return to them.
