thanks for the video, there isnt a lot of information about these spawning bucket builds. i want to provide a few in my local reservoir pond to help the catfish numbers. I caught a 25lb monster a couple weeks ago and released it. After seeing that huge, strong healthy fish I want to do my part to ensure that pond has breeding channel cats. Those drums are massive, Im going to have to use 5 gallon buckets or some 18" steel culvert pipe or something and weigh them down with rocks tied up in 1$ store mesh laundry bags.
I'm intrested to know how long do yall wait to check them after you put them out? Also do you put multiple barrels in the same area or do you spread them out miles or yards apart? Hope to get a response, thanks in advance guys.
