This is so smart, and the effect is gorgeous!! I definitely want to try it out soon! The finished character really blew me away, it's amazing and so inspiring to see how much you've grown as an artist. I hope there will more videos like this in the future, this look into your workflow is incredibly valuable! And you explained what every setting in every node was doing so clearly. Keep up the amazing work!
@@CherylynnLima I like the way the skin looks in the thumbnail and would like to learn how to paint skin like that. I'm not good at painting skin, so I don't know how to be more specific. Maybe this node set up works just as well for skin and I've just messed up when trying to copy it somehow?
Congratulations on the work, it looks beautiful I would love to see your handpainting process, it is the style of painting I would like to use in my next personal projects
Wow this video is gold, I love the info and it have also made me want to know everything. Are there lights in the scene all everything is from the nodes? I would love to see the hand painting process, does it work with other materials like skin,metal... what about the topolgy? I think I want to see everything 😊I know creating content like this takes time but I hope you find time to cover most of it. Thanks
@@CherylynnLima Oh, I didn’t mean to come across as rude or anything. What I mean is, when you touch your desk, the keyboard, etc., the desk wobbles and this transfers to the microphone, so with every movement, you can hear the sounds of your desk through the mic. When watching your videos with headphones, it can be a bit uncomfortable to listen to, in my opinion. This can be fixed by, for example, not attaching the microphone stand to the desk but to a wall or the floor, or by using a stand with built-in damping, usually these are rubber bands around the mic holder that absorb the vibrations

@@CherylynnLima I meant to ask, but I forgot: could you do a tutorial for the character's skin as well (if you haven't already)?
@@luckyducky7819 what part do you mean specifically?

Sorry for nagging, but you should really make sure not to attach your microphone stand to your desk so the noises don’t come through, haha
What noises specifically? And what tool might I use? I have a yeti I'm not Super familiar with so I'd actually love some advice 😅
