You can't put a value on what Will adds to everything he touches, it's just priceless and we benefit from his gift.
Never saw someone run across Will Ramos covers before knowing him from Lorna Shore! I love this because you're perceiving him as he would like to be known - as an incredible gifted and talented vocalist, not genre defined. I am a major supporter of Will as an individual vocalist outside of Lorna Shore. He never stops working to expand his range and abilities. He strives to master his own style in different categories of music from the lowest of gutterals to the highest of squeals and his smooth honeyed tones of even, clean singing. You've only scratched the surface of what he can do, what he will do. As you explore his offerings, note how Will has amazing breath control and clear enunciation - that along with his unique tone really sets him apart. As others have mentioned, please check out his cover of Sleep Token's Hypnosis and his various covers on his personal channel.
The most famous song from lorna shore is to the hellfire (it went viral because it is so unbelievable heavy), so you should definitely listen to this one but you also should not miss the pain remains trilogy (you've probably never heard something so heavy and emotional at the same time, it's a masterpiece & please don't miss the lyrics). Also very famous and my favorite song is sun//eater, it's so heavy and fast but so melodic and beautiful.
Oh, and Will also made a (clean) vocal cover of Sleep Token's Hypnosis, you should check this out too, i love it even more than this one.

Will is an amazing vocalist, but he's also the most down to earth person. He and Elizabeth from the Charismatic voice have become really good friends. A opera singer and a deathcore vocalist. A friendship i didn't know i needed in my life.

He is really nice and down to earth. I went to see Lorna Shore, Mastodon, and Gojira recently, and I ran into Will walking over to the venue. He was really cool.

This song became my favorite out of all the covers he's done immediately, because it was the first time I'd ever heard him actually "sing." If I'm being 100% honest and as much as I love Sleep Token & Vessel's voice, I think Will's version blows it away.
We saw them earlier this year in Asheville at the Mega-Monsters tour with Mastodon and Gojira, Lorna Shore was the opening act. Out of every single show/concert/festival I've been to in 30 something years, LS completely blew me away with how they/he sounded EXACTLY the same as what's on the radio. They didn't do To The Hellfire or Welcome Back O' Sleeping Dreamer at that show, but did both when we saw them again Chattanooga this past September (with I Am & The Acacia Strain.) Dude not only has a PHENOMENAL amount of talent but also seems to be a genuinely decent human being and interacts with his fans constantly.
Whenever you've got time on a flight or something read up a little, or watch some old interviews with him where he talks about teaching himself to scream like that in the shower, it's pretty hilarious. Also the one with him & Elizabeth when they take him to get scoped while he makes all the crazy sounds, if you haven't already!

Why everyone like looses their jaw when they first hear Will sing those covers is because he is otherwise a deathcore vocalist, with no clean singing.
You definitely must check out Lorna Shore with Will Ramos (they had a different vocalist before; edit: doesn't mean they weren't good before, lol, just that I got to know of them now with Will and you know 😇). I'd suggest their famous single To the Hellfire to start with, then Pain Remains trilogy, Sun//Eater...
It was kind of the opposite for me. Hearing the scream was unexpected since I never heard of him before. His clean vox were just amazing! And...hint hint...you may be seeing an ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS first time reaction of Lorna Shore tomorrow. ;)

It’s all screaming in Lorna Shore. Which is why it blew everyone’s mind when he posted a mostly clean singing cover of Hypnosis last year. Everyone was amazed that he could sing because he is primarily known for his range in his screaming. What he did in this song is not even a fraction of what he shows in Lorna Shore.
He has one take vocal covers for several Lorna Shore songs on his personal RUclips (@thewillramos).
To the Hellfire is the first song Lorna Shore put out with him and it’s gone viral on RUclips. I personally think the other two songs on the same EP are better (Of the Abyss and the title track And I Return to Nothingness) but To the Hellfire has the “shock factor”. (No pigs were harmed in the making despite my thought a pig had gotten loose in the studio. That will make sense if you heard the end of the song).

@@musikbyjh Checked out your reaction on the website. There are no songs that he combines the clean singing and screaming. It's all screaming similar to what you heard in To the Hellfire. Right now, the vocal covers on his RUclips are the only way to hear his clean signing. Its hard to say if there ever will be clean singing in Lorna Shore based on the comments made by Adam De Micco. He is their lead guitarist and main song writer. He has said that while he isn't completely against there being clean singing in Lorna Shore now that they have Will who can (as we see with the Chokehold cover), the music would need to fit. They aren't going to have cleaning singing just to have clean singing. If he organically starts writing music that clean singing would fit then is when we will see Will's cleans in Lorna Shore songs.

Will is amazingly talented at all vocals! His gutturals are epic but his cleans are fantastic too. Sleep Token are his favorite band. He has also covered Hypnosis which is brilliant. Also check out “The Charismatic Voice”, Will and Elizabeth are really good friends thanks to RUclips and she takes him to see down his throat with a camera to see how it all works, it’s really interesting. That and he’s the golden retriever of metal 🤣 so cute 🖤

The Lorna rabbit hole is an addictive one though! I'm a massive fangirl and would definitely recommend at least the full 'and I return to nothingness' EP and their latest Pain Remains trilogy (although massive trigger warnings on the videos for the pain remains series, just an FYI although it is a piece of art!)

I’ve been trying to have a balance of saying things I like, speaking about technical stuff, but not pausing and being long winded. I enjoy reaction videos too, and some of my favorites, I just have to skip through sometimes. I don’t want to make people feel like that.

I think no one has requested lorna shore or will ramos before because its hard to believe anyone hasnt already heard them lol. To the hellfire is probably their most viral song right now. Will has been with them for the ...and I return to nothingness EP and the Pain remains album so anything off those. The Pain remains trilogy is probably their most reacted to songs off the album, I like Sun//Eater the best personally though :) lol Im still in shock you havent heard any of their stuff yet. imo Will Ramos is the most dynamic new metal vocalist, he just does harsh vocals in Lorna Shore but as is plain to see.... he can do cleans very, very well

Will joining lorna shore with their 3 song EP is singlehandedly the only reason I got into any kind of deathcore (specifically the video release of return to nothingness). I am not ashamed to say that. Metal fan for life, but deathcore fan since 2021. Everything Will does is fucking gold.
I absofuckinglutely love this song. So far, it's my favorite ST song. I fucking love singing along to it. NGL I try my hardest to hold that ending note... it's weird. Sometimes I can get it right to where I can hold it even after... but that is fucking difficult breath support for a stoner like myself

It’s mindblowing to me that he can sing this good, and isn’t doing that. I mean, whatever HE wants…but I would LOVE to have him do something like The Contortionist when they were a touch heavier. Oh man, he’d kill it! I may have to just start the project and recruit him myself then. 🤷🏽♂️

Great reaction! The reactors in the thumbnails didn't looked comes l shocked because of the screaming, but a lot of people weren't aware that he could sing cleans at all. It's only harsh vocals in Lorna Shore.
I'm a fan of Will, but not of Lorna Shore. It's just not my gerne and the music too much like a wall for me.
But I enjoy Wills vocal covers, since the vocals are a bit louder in the mix, I think. Through The Hellfire (by Lorna Shore) is a good one. And I also love Wills cover of Holy Roller by Spirit Box.

I love this take of your familiarity with Sleep Token and death metal but not Lorna/Will and just appreciating his singing! I got to know him via my sister and To the Hellfire and while I love Lorna’s sound, Will’s clean vocals are so GOOD 🤌 I’m still just a tad bitter I can’t stream this cover of the song along with the original 😂
