@philippejoseph1215 unfortunately not. Not if you do it the way I do it. By not stopping and breaking it up, A LOT, they don’t want me to be able to make money from ad revenue…so the labels block it sometimes. Fair use would be much more likely for people like Elizabeth from the Charismatic Voice, or The Fairy Voice Mother. They stop, and literally teach things…making those videos quite long. Extremely educational, but very long…and it’s more about learning than it is enjoying the song. With me, I want the song to be enjoyed and taken in fully, so I don’t stop it. I hair say a few comments here and there. But my commentary is mostly at the end of the song, so fair use can be questionable. I get it though. I’m not hating. Their music…their art. It just sucks because it could reach so many more people if they weren’t blocked. But it is what it is.

When im in the mood for the big dissection of the song, I watch other type of video. The copyright policy of youtube is in place for a reason and some mal intention people would abuse the system if this type of stuff wasnt in place. My reaction come from the fact, that your video is all from good hearth and for the love of music. I feel more like your videos help bands getting a platform and viewers. Wow, I tried to upload a vid with me talking minimally through the middle and got blocked too! I was considering doing the start/stop method you mentioned above, but did you just fight the claim somehow?
Ooh I am so glad you are doing this trilogy! Can't wait to see the other 2! The first time I watched it I had no idea what he was saying, I did pull up lyrics eventually, and now can hear it fine, but even not knowing what he was saying, the video is so good, you can still make out what is going on.

To be honest, I rarely ever focus on lyrics. I treat the voice itself as an instrument so I typically focus on the music, structure, songwriting, mixing…riffs…vocal cadence and rhythm…then lyrics come after around the 3rd or 4th listen. Typically. 🤘🏽😎🤘🏽
