  • Invited to a very exclusive event that took us back to the early 80´s and to one of the most famous and sought after car models in Audis history. The Audi Sport Quattro.
Audi Tradition put this wonderful event toghether and also to celebrate 40 year anniversary of their former world rally champion, Stig Blomqvist.
We got to drive four of these 500 000 Euro-cars on country roads around Audis motherplace, Ingolstadt.
The sport Quattro was only built in 214 units and today it is a rarity and a collectors car. But its age of 40 years doesn´t make it feel out of league. This is a well balanced, fun and fast car that is as engaging as it was when it came out of the factory.
Click play and enjoy this special ride and review of a real cool icon from Audi.
Don't forget to subscribe and comment. And also, let us know what you would want us to test.

I spent a lot of time in my father in law's 1986 4000cs Quattro, dark graphite gray over black leather, 5 speed, fully optioned - a 4 door sedan but with the same non turbo 5 cylinder and locking diffs. Very nice interiors. It was like a 4 wheel drive Hugo Boss suit - masculine, fast, comfortable, agile in all road and weather conditions and an absolute blast to drive. Not as fast as these monsters but every bit as capable. Fantastic cars in an era of a lot of blah. I NEVER saw (or have seen) a "shortie" in the flesh but the coupes were everywhere as were the 5000 Quattro Sedans and Avant Quattro Wagons. These are beautiful - what a great post - thanks!

@@rustybearden1800 Really interesting to hear, great memories. The Sport Quattro is still a very capable car, you can feel its age ofcourse, but thats charming and its a nice timewarp feeling backwards to experience the drive in these. Thanks for watching 🙏
