I finally caved after years of lore and grabbed a box of leviathan, as well as a metal Hive Tyrant (that one was already painted). May the Great Devourer have mercy on my wallet with all the amazing Tyranid models coming out, and may my first minature painting attempts be not too awful. Great stuff. Still need a 4 player Warcry game. Just add a few more points to each warband and then you can play on a bigger table
Devin was a cool dude. I know the feel of the automatic sleep as soon as you relax. I'm glad he took the time to set aside for his friends and himself. Too many dudes just get enveloped by work and it becomes their identity. Hope you guys can keep convincing him to show.

So I am enjoying watching this but have an issue. I don't understand what's going on at all haha. It'd help a lot if you had a viewers guide for understanding this to help people like me enjoy this more!
By viewers guide I just mean an overview video of some sort!
in a nut shell 40k is a game we adults play with toys we put together and paint where we fight and play with them using rules and dice. Its a lot of fun
every model has a set amount of wounds and preset stats you follow to play
40k is a very fun game, and it maintains a position of dominance because the armies in the game have incredible lore, and the models are without equal. The 40k universe is basically the best sci-fi setting lol

Super lame move to pick Eldar, the most broken faction in the game by far, for a chill tournament with friends like this.
This is just combat patrol, the rules are different to full 40K

@@boolean6532 No, not in full 40K. It's not the Eldar themselves that are the problem either. They have essentially the same unit rules they've had for a fucking decade dude lol. It's not their fault Imperium simps don't read any other rulebooks but their own and get their asses handed to them by superior technology and skills. Best rule to follow: don't get overconfident or think you know shit.
The real problem are the stupid fate dice. It's an admittedly terrible addition. Fleet of foot was 100% better and more tactically fun. They should have never switched it. This assumes you even are well versed on what I'm referring to however.
