It may not be important. The rice thing with banana leaf is called “Zongzi” in mandarin or “rice dumplings” for easy understanding . And the leaf is not banana leaf, it’s sheath (light brown color) or leaf (green color) of bamboo shoots. There are a variety of different taste to choose.

Sadly I’m not 😞 this trip was in sept/Oct 2022. I’m late to post because I couldn’t release my big taiwan videos until March 23. So I’m behind. But I really do hope to return again some day! I loved it !!!

Next trip back to Taiwan with at least one partner, that would be safer and more comfortable. Then you can really enjoy much more in Taiwan.
intersting use of gear! And if not for the kindness of strangers, right? Is there not a gadget that will charge your batteries from the bike as it drives?
I have something that charges usb and my phone, but not that charges my Drone batteries, laptop or camera batteries. Need to get a good solar charger
