That said, if i were 18 i'd go straight for a mechanical engineering apprenticeship ! The F800 looks great, but i really didn't like the engine :-/ the 1200 is a much better bike all round imo, but much pricier too! cheers for watching!

+TheFriskyBiker i am an old man!! :) strangely the weight is fine, its all down low so the centre of gravity is low too, although if it went left, i wouldn't be able to recover it.... hence the engine bars lol !!
+gryphongryph no idea actually. my last 3 modern bikes have had new full exhaust systems with no cat. If it needed an MOT, i could put the CAT back in, to pass emissions

No it's not particularly tall. You can get lower seats and a factory lowered bike too !
