I need to try rotating the pads of my fingers even further onto the rim instead of the flight plate. I usually try to get my middle fingerprint right below where my thumbprint rests, with just a 25-50% rotation of the middle finger towards the rim. I think this is giving my forehand fewer RPMs but still a somewhat fast exit velocity, and compromising the torque resistance of the disc. Thanks for the video, and nice shots with those Trails. That disc is no joke; best 10 speed I've ever thrown (coming from someone who usually doesn't prefer Gyro drivers).
I use 2 finger grip for controlled shots and split finger for distance shots aka Kyle Klein style. Split finger allows the disc to roll off faster for more RPM and distance. Also disc selection depends if you are an anny thrower or hyzer thrower. I am more of an anny thrower like Ohn or Eagle.
Do you have a videos you could tag me that refers to Kyle Klein split grip? I like split grip for angle control I would be interested in learning to use it for distance.
@ yes I agree. I guess what I’m saying is that’s not the point of this video lol. It’s literally to learn to throw like Jerm. Not how to throw anhyzer forehands.
I really like this style of video where you just rip one after another over music then recap. Would be cool to know any plastic differences on screen also
I would disagree with that statement. He has been one of the best forehands on tour for a long time, and his touch and accuracy especially with the forehands in tight fairways is almost unparalleled. Especially with no injuries. Just cause others may throw further, does not make them better intrinsically.
Oh man you haven’t been watching jerm long enough man. He bombs. But also his forehand lines are unparalleled. But yeah if you just want max forehand hyzer right now in think goose ab Parker welck Sullivan Tipton and Gannon got that forehand mush right now

He said throw like jerm tho

but throwing like Jerm is worthless if you throw like Ohn. You will turn everything into a roller.

When you placed your fingers on the flight plate I think something clicked in my brain. Excited to try it out soon!!🎉
yeah, just finished watching the tdo footage too and was thinking the same thing. "Oh man, wish I could forehand like that haha"

I was watching him in a NZ tournament and he was using the watermelon hex a ton.
The Reactor is one of MVP's better sidearm-able discs.
Range is tricky, but a great disc too
I think I need a Crave, and a tTrail... :)
Whats the most flippiest mvp disc for sidearm
Give the detour a shot. Absolutely love that disc for hyzer flip lines, same speed as a hex.
Same recycled information. Some from your own videos.
Get back to us when the "Big Jerm" can rip a forehand as far as those younger kids. Or is MVP the answer?

new to disc golf? jerm been playing a long time with one of the best forehands

This comment is dumb on so many levels haha.
