You’re welcome !
I can tell this man from Baltimore 🤣
how do i set up my cannel for my mic ty
How many channels does your mixer/ controller have?
What about settings for Virtual Dj 8.4 how do I set my settings for scratching?
Any suggestions on serato settings for scratching with turntables? Using 1200s and a DJM S9
I believe that mixer has the curve on it, if you go settings/ library /display you can adjust your balance and noise sensitivity, you want close to a complete clean green circle
I love the technics 1200’s only thing I hate is when a uncle or someone’s brother always walks up and is like “yeah I used to DJ back when” I be like ok social distance homie
Always one out there 😂, guess we’ll all be that one one day, “give props but that’s where it stops “ or whatever HOV said
Serāto 😂 😂
Great video bro, but does the same settings apply on the ddj sx3? Or if not can you make one for the sx3 please?
Thanks for watching! So I had to do some research for the ddjsx3 it seems that they removed the fader curve knob. Pioneer has placed a three choice mode for this knob inside your settings of Serato DjPRo.
1. Sharp - (used for cutting/scratching) similar to the knob being far right in the video
2. Logarithmic - similar to knob being at 12 o’clock
3. Linear - far left or blends
This should be found in settings under fader. 2 downfalls I see in this:
1. I do weddings and usually over dinner I’m blending more but during the party hours I’m cutting, so I can just turn a knob to adjust this vs going in the settings
2. Which is the most important one is adjusting the curve slightly to compensate for your abilities, so if your cuts are not clean you can slightly adjust the knob to fix the timing a bit of your scratches so where I’m far right but slightly a notch back towards 12 instead of directly open or closed
Hope this helps
Okay cool I'll give it a try and let you know how it goes okay, BTW thanks for the help bro
I’m new to djing so keep it all the way to the right? What other settings are good for scratching for beginners
I mostly keep it right. If I’m doing mixtapes or scratch sessions, at weddings I may have it at 12 o’clock to blend songs better during dinner. But mostly all the time it’s right for me . Definitely for scratching. What gear are you using ? Turntables or a controller?
@@marvelousdjs_cheatcode have the DDJ SX3. Not sure if my settings are correct for scratching. It sounds horrible
@@courtneywilson8258 after you adjust the curve? What does it sound like , a crunchy digital sound or just bad scratching 🤣 I’m kidding but what sound or word are you scratching , claps, bass or words??
I guess I'm different because I mix and scratch with my cross fader curve all the way to the right!!
Definitely not different I do it too, only because I like to scratch during my sets and if I have to blend I just use the channel faders 🎚 🎚. There are times that I do move the curve left , when I’m Djing weddings and they have a jazz or classical hour, it’s easier just to move the fader over to fade one out and the next in. Sounds better to me then slamming in the next song.
The way “serato” was pronounced was a first
Good explanation, bad demonstration. with all the record out there, why not use two different records.
Good point
You so damn Baltimore 😂
