True Story Rip@Clink Street 1988 - I remember dancing and my mate Vince who started laughing at me saying Tam you ain't moved from that same spot for 6 hours. you must be on a great trip...Indeed i was, a candyflip. trippin' proper lol...Anyway while i was dancing near a wall i see Vince tapping at a wall, he had a screwdriver in his hand. He stopped tapping and started digging...i mean he dug so hard the fucking wall collapsed and partially fell on me...and there's me thinking i ain't in no pain coz i'm trippin' and this ain't real...Like fuck was this a trip, this shit was real, and i was covered in cement dust like it exploded just for me haha! i was covered and everyone was laughing...Vince was so high i don't think he'd realised what had happened...i kid you not, just after this track was finishing i heard the dj mix in Bring Down The walls by Robert Owens and the crowd next to us lot burst out laughing...That was the night i got my membership card which i still have today 35 years later... Good Times...Fabulous post Rene' , and this is the best mix for sure on this vinyl. 💯❤👋🎵
It wasn't you knocked down the wall in 'Telepathy' by any chance 😅Look i'm gonna say that's definitely one of the craziest raving tales ever told and some of them old wharehouses we're lucky worse didn't happen . When you think back there was no health and safety it had to be illegal but they (Govmt) forced that situation to arise . This year 90' was filled with hope tam remember all the different styles emerging , it was some year for music i didn't know the scene would be almost unrecognisable within a few years though . You can still hear a couple of pops & crackles in the vinyl on this and you know what that bass drum sounds like on a rigg , pure quality !
@@RenegadeSound This track is pure dirty heavyweight business on a soundsystem.. That bass and drum just hugs you like a blanket, not forceful or aggressive, just warm and lovely with added va va voooom lol.. I'm old skool so yeah, ima choose pop n crackle all day everyday simply because it's a reminder of a track well played over the years which then reflects how i remember the soundtrack to my life over the past 50 years..Only true vinyl lovers will appreciate this.
This and " Face It" hit differently in that era, legendary music brother
