Well done guys that looked like a serious way up. I did The Pony Path yesterday and it was so much easier than the route you took. Oh and I also did it in my Nike trainers as it was a nice dry day...imo trainers rule in those conditions boots for when it's wet.
Wow I love that. Thanks for filming this experience. I'd love to visit Wales next year and my first plan was splitting my time between Pembrokeshire coastal path and Snowdonia (Llanberis region) but someone recommended cadair Idris and its so beautiful I'd love to go there. 😍
Great video guys. I did same walk last September 2023 ( my vid not nearly as good ) took me 8 and half hours on hottest September day ever. They are very harsh brutal paths . Coming down as time consuming and hard as going up. Will improve with the work going on. Yes definitely take enough water and allow enough time ( which I didnt) and ended up last 45 minutes decending rocky path in the dark and wondering where my car was. Quite scary. Anyway made it , so learnt a lesson . Take care and good luck , Roy
New sub here, very realistic vid of the route up. Its tough from the very beginning 😂. Camped at the summit a few times and its a hard slog with a pack on and im not sure if the burn going up or the pain in my knees and feet coming down, which one is worse 😂😂. ATB Paul 👍
Bravo guys , Cadair can be a tuff one , its a bit easier frim the otherside ( cregenion ? Lakes ) and you were VERY lucky to get the weather on top , i used to live at the Minffordd hotel 50 years ago , so you brought back some vivid memories for me ,, thanks so much, ps i did notice the stone that i placed on one of the Cairns , 50 years ago 😅😅😅😅( only joking )
Great video guys! I started following you as we’ve recently bought an orange t6 camper and are now obsessed with all things orange and can’t wait to get out exploring! I really want to do this walk! Where did u camp? Also, where are Katies leggings from? 😂
Hey Gemma, thanks for your comment! Amazing! The orange obsession is real 😍 We stayed at a small campsite called Cwmrhwyddfor Farm, was a great location! We will be posting a video of the places we stayed soon! Believe it or not they are from SHEIN! Only £13 (and not see through) 🤪
@@KatieAdam it certainly is!🍊🍊everything I buy for the van is orange 🤣 Thanks for taking the time to reply, we really enjoy watching your adventures in Terry and we’re looking forward to doing the same in our ‘Tangerine dream’ as she’s known. Wow, I’m having a look on Shein! I thought they must be expensive as they weren’t see through 🤣 Keep up the adventures guys! Take care x
Brilliant video thanks so much - really helpful. Loved the detail, was the path easy to find? Am definitely going to give it a go? Did yu use the OS map app? Cheers Chris
Glad the video was helpful! This route was the hardest of the two we have done. We just used our iPhone maps and followed the directions from the information centre.
Great vlog guys thank you, I'm thinking about doing Cadair Idris but not sure which path to choose and this looked fairly steep at points. Have you done any of the paths up Snowdon and could compare to any of those so I can get an idea of difficulty. I'm debating either this path or the Pony track. Thank you :)
Thanks so much! Apologies for the slow reply, this was apparently the hardest route and some of the easier snowdon routes are ALOT easier! I think there is an easier route up from the opposite side of the mountain if that helps!
Great video! Beautiful area, looking forward to go there. Also good to see what kinda clothes you need up in the mountains, although I don't think I need swimming shorts there 🤣😅👌🏻👍🏻Btw: nice butt 🤭
Hi Kate and Adam, do you have the gpx track of the route? We're heading in august to Snowdonia and want to hike that route of yours...hope you have 👌🏻 Kind regards, Roy
Brings back a lot of memories. Love that place! Great video guys 👍🏼
Thank you, glad you enjoyed! Unreal place isn’t it 🙌🏽

Thanks for watching! A difficult one indeed! Take care also 💙
Took me 8 and a half and rescued 3 novices off the summit ❤
