  • At Pett Level: Mastering the Art of Lugworm Bait Pumping Conditions are quite hard at the moment with lots of May rot or gully rot what ever you like to call it normally starts towards end of April to mid May and boy does it stink it also seem to make the worms rot a lot quicker .The worms also seem to be shrinking this could be because they have just spawned but my mission for the morning try and get as many worms as possible

      I am on the northwest of England and under northwest water that is as bent as most politicians and dumping millions of gallons of suage every year in the sea.👍👍

    The smell you are describing, and the snot, are lugworm spawning and dead lugworm as they spawn and die. That's the smell.

    Brighton has been terrible they are all sitting flat and impossible to pump there less that 1 inch in the ground

      @hastingsangler  Год назад +1

      Hi Fable Rudwick i think the the weathers not helping seems to be a lot harder everywhere at the moment .We still have a lot of May Rot about and the worms are not lasting long maybe try turning the pressure on the pump up slightly when like that they are hit and miss good luck
