He waited until 12 minutes into video before he explained what the trolley and the bucket was for!!! I spent ages shouting at the video thinking he had accidentally snagged himself on it and didnt know.

I have had this pump 2 years now had thousands of worm never serviced it miss treated it even had to saw 5mm off the end where it had worn thin from exesive use still going strong very happy really carnt see what the problem is with them just being honnest

As a teenager at Hastings i could dig 100 lug no problem when i was in Hastings 3 years ago i watch ed a guy with a pump getting or rather trying to get lug in Aus we use pumps to get nippers a lot easier than pumping lug .Happy fishing from AUS

Pumps are not immediately easy. I used to dig professionally, and on a good tide get 700 black lug. Got back into beach angling last year and got myself a pump. Not had more than ten worms in a tide yet. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it would be good to see a video accurately explaining how to pump effectively.
At 1200 a session buddy the area probably been pumped clean... not you at all...!!!!!

Or dig for worms in general lol anyone knows to go for a wet patch.
Digging worms or an advertisment for a pump ? Thanks to the video I no longer want a pump and will stick with the trusted fork atleast you dont have to lube the fork up
no dont use fairy liquid - cooking oil more env friendly

never met one proffesonal using a pro pump lol,missed more than he had
roughly 12.30 when pumping in water. look at bottom corner of screen worm layed there before pump went into sand. more paul fenech crap.

They miss one at about 6:50 as well, it is at the right of the screen, he pulls a second attempt and pushes it farther away with the water and sand he expels.....

The best way to adjust these pumps is .... put it under the wheels of a 52 bus and let the driver run over it, Then put it on ebay and get rid !
I paused after 00:01:27..... I couldn't give a toss about the latest trick tools on the market to fishermen or women...... I want to know how to catch them / or similar species from all over the globe with my bare hands........... Obviously I came to the wrong channel!!
can you pump normal lug or just black lug and are they any good for razor clams (they pump for razor clams in the states)

We have loads of pebbles just under a layer of fine sand and I never knew until I tried giving it a go, but haven't given up yet, I'll have to find a pebble less beach
As Gasry Davies says, yes u can pump blow lug, most definitely. I have been doing so for many years
The first ones looked like blacks but the later ones looked like blow lug, and you always gut blacks, blow lug you keep some for using fresh

I know a bit of WD40 can work for some but becareful the oil doesn't taint the worms?

these pumps aint so good at getting blow lug ,blow lug live in a u shaped burrow , black lug burrows go straight down ,black lug i find have a much neater cast a small cast sometimes has a little hole on the top usualy theres a worm there , this is just what i have found out by trail and error ,i still use my old big bore alvey , the narrow pumps are easier because you dont take so much out in one go so much easier to pull, if theres clay beneath the sand then its hard work look somwhere else is my advice and lowest point of tide and spring tides are best times to get your bait

You do understand that when people do the washing up, the washing up liquid goes into the sea right? People on here are saying use cooking oil instead, maybe that don't realise that jungles all over asia are being destroyed to grow rape seed for cooking oil. Both damaging for sure, however as we already wash up with washing up liquid which goes into the sea, then a tiny amount for lube, is not really a problem.

sorry ive only just seen this vid and no i dug bait for living in cornwall for many years and these pumps rip blow lug apart they ok for the blacks but not blow. blow lug can not be frozen but will last a few days in a shallow try with about an inch of sea water in the bottom but dont over crowd them and change the water daily
