Some people have no idea how tiring it is to constantly fight on your toes, but Salvador could do that throughout the entire fight! In his 23 years of age he beat the best African boxer ever and the best Puerto Rican boxer ever, which is still held as the best victory in Mexican boxing. Azuma wasn't the fighter then as he would become, but as good as he was Sal at the level he was would of been still to good. Also Sal would of been better with more fights under his belt. Boxers peak roughly between 28 - 32, so Sal had 5 more yrs or more to be his best version 👍

Both of them were young, featherweight boxers that seemed to have a promising future ahead of them. They dominated their weight class until they eventually met their end due to accidental deaths. Sanchez because of a car accident, and Rikishi because of his fight with Joe Yabuki. But it isn't just their general history, but they also have very similar faces. The sharpest resemblance being in their sharp jawline and the main differences being their hair and noses.

Salvadore Sanchez would have been one of the greatest fighters ever, if he had lived. At the time of his death, in my opinion, he was the greatest pound for pound that existed. Salvadore Sanchez's only come around once in a lifetime. I totally respected him. What a loss.
