The best tutorials ever without raving on, always to the point and so organised. I’m addicted to your videos. 👍🏻 thanks Donna and Matt, wonderful team work. 👏
Donna Jordan you are just too smart! You take great videos and you don't talk too much about nothing and lose my attention. I love your videos!! I love your quilts and you make things look so simple! I wish we could sit down and have coffee! Good job!
You are so organized with your cutting, piecing, sewing, and pressing. That means we don’t have to wait very long for the next step. Your videos are so easy to watch. I don’t get anxious for the next step. You love what you do and that’s contagious.
Why anyone would ever give you a thumbs down is beyond me. Your tutorials are educational and motivational. I wish there were enough hours in the days to make them all!
I am building my patchwork with this method and so far so good. However, I would suggest you take a photo of your layout to make sure you're staying on track with the design that you have picked.
I just recently found your channel and I'm addicted to the videos! I love every quilt that I've seen you make on the videos. You are very talented. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. 😊🌹
Your organization of managing pieces is so good to learn. That is one of the things I struggle with. Can’t wait to try your method one of my quilts. Thanks again Donna. You are the best teacher.
I loved this little quilt. My neighbor has two boys and they just moved up here in the mountains. These little animals were perfect. But! This is the second time I have fallen in love with a quilt and the kit. The last one was the "For the love of log cabins, the Driftwood" The kits no longer exist. So sad. I love your videos, your quilts and the fabric combinations. Keep up the wonderful work. Maybe one day I will catch the right pattern and fabric just right.
Excited to start doing my new Christmas runners. I’m a new quilter and your tutorials are wonderful! Have plans for so many of your wonderful quilts. Without the tutorials I can watch anytime I probably would have given up. Thank you Sue
I love how you are putting more personal touches in your videos, like talking about your hometown, and the other video featuring your daughter. Very nice. This is a gorgeous quilt.
I love your tutorials. I am a beginner quilter and I can follow along real well with your teachings. You're not like some that talk and talk and talk before they get down to teaching you get right to the point you explain everything you even point out the mistakes that you make and how we can make them better you are really down to earth if I ever get to Grants Pass I'm coming to your shop. I have ordered some materials from y'all and made a couple table runners and I do have some mistakes in them but I'm learning and you are a great teacher in Matt cuts the materials so perfectly. Thanks for taking your time and showing us and teaching us and making it feel like we're right there with you.
Just finished this quilt top with sone charm squares I had been saving. Mine are very colorful and I alternated them with a tonal white. It came out really sweet. I used a dotted print for the 2.5” border and the same white on the 6” border, since I couldn’t get to the quilt shop, and the fabric I ordered online didn’t really work. The white border was a little overwhelming, so I cut it down about an inch. Looks better. Am using some of the fabric I ordered for the border as a center panel on the back. I’ve never done this before, but again the fabric I ordered wasn’t quite right, so used the fabric I ordered for the border as the center panel on the back. New experience and technique for me. Very easy and fun to make. Am planning on making more quick tops like this, since our local fabric stores are closed and I have other really cute cheerful fabric collections. Thanks for the video and explanation. Have learned a lot by watching.
Oh Donna, You understand us so well. Keeping them all on the thread is awesome for me. I'm always in a hurry thinking I have everything perfect. I'm wrong half the time and this step will help me a lot! By the way, I have over 50 great nephew's and nieces. Someone always needs a quilt. Whew! I just started about 4 years ago about! And man I have made so many darn quilts. 59 and I will be quilting till I die!!! I originally was looking for newborn quilts to give to my local hospital. This helps a lot. Thank-You Donna, you're a treasure to say the least!!!!!
I watch your tutorials every morning. We are wintering in Texas but plan to use my fat quarter to make a quilt when I go home, since I do not have a sewing machine here. You make everything look so easy.
Another great tutorial. I never thought of not clipping the threads and sew together using your method. Takes a little getting use to, but I can tell I will love it. Practice makes perfect. Thank you.
Great tutorial on putting your rows together! I've never done it this way, and don't know how many times I've sewn a row upside down and had to rip it out and do it again! Thanks for the great tip!
I recently found your videos and I have to say, "I Love Them!" You are so talented and an excellent teacher. Thank you very much. I would love to someday actually visit your shop!
I always learn something new from you. I really liked how you picked up the quilt rows to keep them in order. These instructions keep everything right. Thanks for all of your instructions and guidance.
Hi Donna I haven't been quilting very long so any tips are really useful, I also live in the UK and to be honest quilting isn't very popular over here, although it is getting better. I love that tip of chain stitching the whole quilt, I keep putting the squares in the wrong place but now you have shown me a better way so in future I will be chain stitching not just the rows but the whole quilt. I love the quilts they are beautiful and I agree the bear is rather cute. Thank you Donna I do enjoy your videos. Laura
i would say it's increased in popularity a lot in the last two decades. As in most things, it goes through cycles. I live in the middle of nowhere and there are two great groups locally. When I first started about 25 years ago, there was nowhere near the choice available now for fabric or tools, then again, it was a LOT cheaper.
Donna, where have you been all of my quilting life? :0) What a revelation! I have been quilting for a good amount of time, but this is a show stopper. OMG, totally excited to see how you put this together! I am wowed!
Donna I love your technique I hope I can use this technique on my next quilt really love this quilt I have made a similar pattern before but your technique makes it so easy. Thank you so much
Great tutorial ... as usual! You and one other lady are about the only two quilting tutorials I watch. You always make things beautifully, simply and precise with no waste of time in this crazy busy world we live. Finished quilt looking difficult, but made easy. Love the way you use both pink & blue for unisex baby colors.
such precious fabrice, and a very quick quilt. love it and all your toots. Thanks Donna !! BTW I learned a tip years ago and I marked yellow flower head pins with # from 1 - 25 those pins stay at the top of each row on the left corner representing the 'do not sew to' spots. it works great
You're amazing. I watch your videos all the time. You inspire me. I'm a dressmaker, not a quilter, but I have learned lots of little tips from watching your videos, which help me with my dressmaking. Thank you! I'll keep watching!
Lovely! Do lucky yo just breeze thru the shop and pick from a whole room full of bolts!!! Blessed! I am on the other side of the US,(SC)! No shop like yours around! How I wish you could sell your "scrapes by the pound" online! My passion is scrappy projects! I end up scavenging thrift stores for shirts, skirts, curtains, anything to recycle to get different stash elements! Thanks for your knowledge and teaching in simple instructions!
I am making the charm pack quilt from your video and wondered if you have a video of how to do the back? I found your video on borders and binding. It looks like you cut the fabric into three pieces and sewed it together from your little diagram in the video. I also am so happy I found your videos this week. Your calm encouragement really makes me think I can do it!! Thank you.
I love your tutorials, when I first watched the tutorials and you did the figure pressing I thought that it was a waste of time, but I soon found it to be one of the best tips that I picked up in all the videos because it really helps to line everything up much easier and neater, thank you
Just beautiful! I love the instructions for sewing the squares! I’m a beginner and it really made a lot of sense. I just finished my first log cabin table runner with one of Matt’s pre cut kits! I’m going to hand quilt it to finish it. I love your videos!
I love your tutorials! I learned from each one. Your directions and explanations make it so easy for a person who needs visuals to learn, That would be me! Thank you so much for each one that you share with us! I love the line of fabrics that was in this tut! ... soooo cute!
So cute. I purchased two precut packs for a friends twins who are due in March. The pattern is so easy. I should have both quilts pieced by the weekend. So excited to get quilting them. Thanks for all your tips and instructions.

The best tutorials ever without raving on, always to the point and so organised. I’m addicted to your videos. 👍🏻 thanks Donna and Matt, wonderful team work. 👏
OMG Donna! I had the basic design in my head, but your layout and chain piecing method blew my mind. Thank you!!
Donna Jordan you are just too smart! You take great videos and you don't talk too much about nothing and lose my attention. I love your videos!! I love your quilts and you make things look so simple! I wish we could sit down and have coffee! Good job!
Yes I appreciate that you’re not unnecessarily chatty. That makes the videos easier to follow for newbies like me!
You are so organized with your cutting, piecing, sewing, and pressing. That means we don’t have to wait very long for the next step. Your videos are so easy to watch. I don’t get anxious for the next step. You love what you do and that’s contagious.

I didn't understand that either. Its a lot of rude people in this world.I love her tutorials
They might not have liked the pattern or the colours I suppose. I think it’s awesome and of course her tutorials are amazing.
I am building my patchwork with this method and so far so good. However, I would suggest you take a photo of your layout to make sure you're staying on track with the design that you have picked.
I so love your tutorials as a new quilter you teach in a way that is easy to follow. I so wish I lived closer so I could visit your shop

I like seeing your process and thoughts when you show your quilts. Thanks.
