we use a lead fish lure ont the oregon coast . they here or feel the lead bouncing and clicking off the rocks and hit it but we only do it off boats it wouldnt last long fishing them from shore for that we use the same rig as on this show works great on the jetties and rocks

My friend on the brandywind in the marina just went to Catalina island and caught a bunch of that I believe and limited out. On the west side.

I'm thinking of running this rig and then adding a dropper loop above the weight with live bait, so fishing for big lins and rockfish at the same time?

What's riging the tool you were talking about for rigging swim baits? From AA soft plastics. Where can we get it?

AA sells it on their website and most fishing tackle shops sell them too.

I need advice I have two rods with penn fathoms 40’s these are my multiple use rod reel combo.. I want to use them for trolling for albacore tuna, after the trolling put a 40 lb leader with line bait, after that change the leader to 80 lb steel or 80 lb leader for pacific halibut, California halibut & Rock fish I was considering 100 lb braid as my main maybe 80 lb this is also my sturgeon set up what do you guys think?? I’m in norther California where leopard sharks & seven gills are also game

You can't fish for everything with two rods, you need more outfits.

just go with 80 pound mono no crimps no leaders basic for trolling set your other pole up for everything else but then i would use wire and braided line . i have had the eighty pound broke a few times big fish run with albies a few years back in coos bay oregon someone caught a 150 bluefin and we get the occasional dolphin and even sailfish and of course sharks abd big ones at that

Is there a name for the tube that cuts swimbaits so the hook doesn't split the bait?
