Random thought as I watch the last few minutes of this interview (spread it over a couple days), but it kind of surprises me (thinking about what got me into fantasy in general) that there isn't a Prydain RPG based on the Lloyd Alexander books. On the off chance you're not familiar with them, seriously, check them out. Am almost 51, and have "averaged" roughly a read a year for about 41 years. Most of those reads when I was younger, but still pick the series up every couple of years and read it (also on my second copy of each book).
@@Kritfayle Classic coming of age fantasy trope stuff that I happened to find when I was 5th grade (about 10 years old) [Sorry for not responding sooner]. Not sure what made me pick it up (other than it was the USA Scholastic Book thing we had here in America for a long time where you could get books geared towards kids in school and it resonated with me. Didn't find Tolkien until a lot further down the line (and got through most of LOTR).
I am reading Hobbit at the moment as we have started The One Ring game and wanted to try and remember some of the names/places. The three from High School for me was Dragonlance Book 1. Still think that is decent for what it is. Ursuark by the Hildebrandt Brothers. Very Troupe but filled with amazing art all the way through and reads like a D&D adventure of the day. Bowmen of Crecy which was a kids adventure story set in the war between France and England. It had taken me 30 years to track a copy down so been a bit afraid to read it.
@@Kritfayle Just finished watching the animated series myself. I can see that they modeled the two astronaut minis on Jeff and Judy. So perhaps a Bill Hudson mini might be in a future stretch goal perhaps with the flying serpent.
I think the next mini is the Alpha Omega Bomb. I am sure they have some other minis in mind if they can get to them. Andrew is a fan of the animated series so I would not be at all surprised to see more of its influences in the game :)
I never get sick of listening to Andrew.
We have interview him a few times now. Alien, Carbon Grey, Terminator we have covered. He certainly knows his stuff.
@@Kritfayle Absolutely. I believe I've listened to them all!
@@42ndStreetMatthew We will have to get him on again then.
WOW! That is a lot of fantastic ttrpg work! Nice! Great interview!
He has certainly done a great deal
Great interview. Had fun watching.
Thank you for taking the time to watch. Appreciated
@@Kritfayle Still watching it, but great interview with like half still to go.
We do tend to get going a bit when we have Drew on.

I bet the winged serpent from the animated series is one of the stretch goal minis.
it is available in the Ruins of Tomorrow Miniature Box set for 69.00 or the Lambda Level which has the mini box plus other things for 169.00
@@Kritfayle I believe the lake monster you're referring to is from earlier in the animated series.
@@Crumble23 We have not yet seen the animated series. So we are learning as we go with some things in the setting for sure.
