I would never have known that you were not a Master Kayaking expert . What a beautiful place , and one many would not have seen so intimately , had it not been for your tireless search for new ,exciting adventures ! Thanks !
I'll be honest Dylan, although I was subscribed to your channel, I was tired of the van living vids u presented. This is awesome. Love watching adventure vids and great camera work. Well done
I truly liked your video of your first kayak trip. I’ve been kayaking for a few years and do have a seaworthy kayak but living in Utah there’s not much saltwater with Tina flow, Great Salt Lake has the salt but no tides. I have received an invitation to go kayak camping around the San Juan islands next summer and might even get to visit the business that made my boat Thank you for an entertaining video.
Dylan you did really well not only achieving some quality canoeing but fantastic camera work. On top of that, you were the solo camera person is very impressive as you had to negotiate paddling and filming, with the added pressure of being surrounded by water creates its own problems I am sure let alone to control a drone very nicely done. (If you ever are in the UK/ Europe and need a place to stay give me a shout anytime). Keep doing what you are doing!
It is so absolutely dope to see you doing such incredible filmmaking Dylan! I've been waiting for these personal adventures for a while, your personality is truly one of a kind. So happy to have made your acquaintance at that REI in Olympia, you've given me so many ideas for my own cinematic vanlife channel. Thanks for your constant creation brotha, this world needs it! PS thanks for the tip that you can use the sigma 18-35 with a metabones adapter! It's a go to when Nicole is using our other wide angle :P
Fantastic, yes needs refinement but great work, really its good stuff.... you're creating solid work with little and that says alot about your abilities. Simple and a pleasure to watch.
this has been your best video everrrrrrrrrrr. and you've done some pretty fricken good ones. great footage. i'll have to try that before i keel over i think.
Everything that follows 5:26 should be on National Geographic dude. The shots you got and the music combined are in-freaking-credible! and I love your life lesson at the end
Some amazing drone shots. Especially the moments with the soaring music. Then cut to fajita tacos. Then the annoying friend that you can only tolerate in small doses. 😉
Hey Dylan, where is the ice cream place where you stopped at 4:15? I'm helping organize a Boy Scout kayak trek in the San Juans next summer and we're just starting to think about exactly where we want to go. Having an ice cream place to stop at midday right off the water would be awesome. :)
Probably didn’t know it, but you are not allowed to fly drones in Washington State Parks. If fact, video production requires special permission and a permit. Just so other’s know. The rules have changed.
Also check out orcas island. The doe bay resort is awesome! There is a sauna and built up natural hot springs! Which i would reccomend a women. If you made friends with anyone of the girls in your kayaking group.
Well you can't pronounce the island correctly, second when you carry your watercraft on land its portage. Dont try to spice it up you fake city people.

So cool! You did a great job, what a fun trip and crew. Miss you! WE LOOK AWESOME, those landscapes are unstoppable.
I love your music choices on this one. Very dramatic. Felt like a major motion picture in some of the scenes.
Nice. Great aerial shots, well done.
Beautiful video Dylan. Kayaking is an amazing way to experience nature. I look forward to your upcoming videos.
