Louis Smith - 'Gold Medal' Charleston - 'Strictly Come Dancing' Winner 2012

Louis Smith, former British artistic gymnast and winner of bronze and silver medals at several Olympics, became a father for the first time recently (14th February 2021). His girl-friend Charlie Bruce and their daughter Marley Valentina are both doing fine, so here, as a little tribute, is a memento of the 'Strictly Come Dancing' 2012 finale in which Louis and his professional partner Flavia Cacace won that year's glitter-ball trophy. They had just danced a Charleston described by judge Len Goodman as a "Gold Medal Performance." The other judges were Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli, with the presentation being made by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly.
