"What's the worst that could happen? You couldn't use your legs?" Observing these wcmx enthusiasts causes severe cringe among those aware of the increased risks of further injury and the connection between pain and depression. These people claim to counter depression by taking on the risks of stunts in a wheelchair including the highest category of risk for those with spinal cord injuries: spinal compression. Those kneepads and helmet are worthless against spinal disc damage (these people have no clue). Make sure to follow up in 10 years on the health complications and increased pain of this ridiculous, self-sabotaging group of volunteer circus stunt people.

Abled people skateboard and do parkour and put themselves at risk all the time. Disabled people have the right to engage in the same activities and take the same risks as ableds.

Also, to straight up claim that they are unaware of the risks?!
Of fucking course they know the risks!! Just like any person skateboarding knows the risks!
Whatever your point even was, it doesn’t hold up.
