      Hello Randy! Happy to hear that, it's all about progressive overload and focusing on making small progress over time. I might be missing a leg but I'm fitter and I can sprint uphill faster than most two-legged people my age :) If she's patient she can accomplish great things in the long run!

Sir, please keep up your mindset and attitude, and please keep posting. With all the comments you receive, I know that you realize that you make a difference, but I honestly think it is a lot bigger than you know.

    Man I'm glad my search led me to you, I am a recent amputee and going through the healing process. Left leg below the knee, I was sick a long time and lost alot of overall body strength so I'm headed for an uphill battle and my insurance only gave me 4 PT appointments, so now I'm on my own but I think you might be able to help me get through this. Thanks for taking the time to do these videos...

    RBK here (with a pretty damaged remaining left limb) I threw my back out trying to squat like I used to. Videos like these can save you some serious time off and chiropractor bills/yoga bills

    Cancer survivor, this is (literally) my very first video I'm watching for an exercise routine/workout moves that I can specifically do now after what I've been left with so decided to look this stuff up cuz starting to crave getting back into shape and wound up here, it looks like I need some bands lol, I will continue to follow along as it truly seems like you have a pretty good understand for as to what you are teaching and recommending, so thank you for your assistance in helping me to begin this next journey, I truly appreciate it❤️💜

      Hey how’s that working out for you so far? Mind helping me out? I’m going to the gym and also working an 8 hour shift a day job as a cashier, this obviously means I’m in my prosethic a lot, and I’ve noticed it’s very difficult to keep my stump skin healthy. You got any medicine you use or skin care stuff you use for your stump? Any help would be much appreciated

      Hey I hope you see this and can respond, how do you keep your stumps skin from getting dry and itchy, and also from breaking out or anything. The only thing keeping me back at this point is finding good skin care for my leg. I just don’t get what I need to do

    You are right. Not many amputees making good videos so thank you. Ten years wt prosthesis (BKA) and working out using able bodied atheletes videos sometimes a challenge. Thought could not do burpees but you proved me wrong. Will do it now slowly and build up. Stay blessed.

    This helps me alot I just had an amputate 3 months ago I been on the prosthetic leg 3weeks after my surgery. I want to advance iam 100 percent motivated to start walking and do more activities. Thank Brother.. to all the amputate soldiers lets rock this we can do this""

    HAVING YOUR FEET AGAINST THE WALL DURING PLANKS! You just blew my mind! No matter what foot I'm in, my foot slips out during planks and I had given up on them. Thanks for the info!

    I've been a left BKA for about 18 months. Handling it decently so far. I've tried to get back into working out a few times over the months but keep injuring my hip flexor, lower back, groin, etc. all on my amputated side. I'm going to try to start more slowly this go around with your exercises in mind. How many sets/reps do you recommend? Thanks for the video, would love to see more amputee specific content! Thanks again.

    This is fantastic. i had a left BKA 6 months ago, doing pretty well (didn't know there was a greek option thanks for letting me know NOW). PT's loved my progress but something's been missing: having fun. somehow i thought i had to fix myself first but it seemed aimless and i've never been normal in my life, why start now?
    seems you're having a blast so i think i will too. looking forward to trying to box and being bad at it, but having fun (more important) - will be new to me too, but first things first.

    This is an excellent video for below knee amputees, unfortunately many of the exercises will be impossible, or nearly impossible for above knee amputees. Are you able to put something together for those of us without a knee? This means two legged squats, kneeling, etc just won’t work for us but we still want to work out both legs.

    I can never find any workouts for ABOVE knee amputees. This is literally just a normal low impact workout by a dude that happens to have a prosthetic shin, ankle and foot.

      I’m in the same boat as you guys and can’t do many of these. The prosthesis is heavy and cumbersome which makes it even harder to workout. If anyone knows of any exercise routines for people like us. It’s been almost 2 years since it happened and my body has gone out of shape. Any guidance would be welcome.

    What kind of prosthesis are you wearing? I can't do anything like that without it falling off. I have a bk air suction and suspension sleeve. If I walk for too long the thing falls off! So, comfortably doing these exercises is a task for me.

    Do you have any good exercise ideas for strengthening quad muscles on the prosthetic side. I've found since the calf muscles don't activate., getting the quad muscles to fully activate to be difficult unless I do leg extensions machine since I bypass the calf.
    Do you have any other recommendations and ways to train without machine?

    Hi!, I am confused about if I am skinny or not. I am 169 cm and weights at the moment 57.4 kg. I have a tummy which sticks further out than my chest. I am eating healthy and doing bodyweight training 3 times a week. Can I send a picture for you to see to tell if i am skinny fat, and maybe ask further questions? I do not want to cut to look even more skinny and weigh even less...

      Hi VB, I have a pin system by Ossur - Re-Flex Shock. I've tried vacuums in the past but I wasn't a big fan of them. I guess they work better for some people, and what you get used to, but I find pin systems more practical

      Hello WM, unfortunately I'm not familiar with Kenya's healthcare system. If I was you, I'd search for people in similar situations in your country. Look for local amputee coalitions and social media groups. I'm sure you'll find more people in your situation who have figured this out!

      Hi James, having no experience with bilateral amputees, I unfortunately cant tell with certainty. You can try, but always look for ways to make things easier in your case.

    I’m surprised your doing lunges. I’ve felt that was an exercise I would just have to start skipping out on. When I try doing lunges I feel I’m always putting more weight on my regular leg. Never felt I was doing them right after the prosthetic

    Why is the kneeled hip thrust ideally done without the prosthesis? Is it just due to a lack of ankle mobility

    This should be called “Warm Ups for below the knee amputees.” I am a highly active above the knee amputee and still 80% of these are nearly impossible for me to do.

      I am AK left side.. wish I had my knee still lol but no worries. This should help dramatically. I have always been active but caught my 2nd wind in life and I am ready to hit it hard !
