There are so many aesthetically pleasing cities in the world. Bath, Paris and Rome are just a few that come to mind. But is Palma on the island of Mallorca ever top of this list for you? Many people still think of Mallorca as a bit of a party island, or as an island to relax, unwind and sunbathe. It can be all of those things. But the culture that can be found on Mallorca is amazing. That for me, is what makes Mallorca a hidden gem. I’m going to sharing these beautiful places with you in a series of videos looking at the best places to visit whilst on the island of Mallorca.
As mentioned, in this video, I discover Palma. Palma is the biggest city on Mallorca and it is also well worth a visit. In this video, I’m going to show you some of the best places to visit in Palma whilst visiting for the day. The best thing - it doesn’t have to break the bank. In fact, the majority of the things to see and do in this video are free!
I’ll show you some of the best places to walk around and explore. There are a number of free museums to visit whilst in Mallorca, so come with me as I show you around one of those. Let’s just say - Diamonds aren’t always a girls best friend 😉 I’ll also take a look around the outside of Palma’s stunning cathedral, affectionately known as La Seu. A gothic style masterpiece that dates back to the 13th Century - you will not want to miss this place. There’s so much more to see during this video.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife also has a rambla. It's really long - it starts at the Promenade slightly out of the city centre and then goes up and up and curves round until you end up right at the top of the city. The Spanish certainly like their ramblas! Palma looks amazing and interesting, hope I can get to see it some day. Thanks, Mike 😃
