- Whats life without a little adventure, right?!
Went on a hike deep into the Everglades and came across a HUGE unknown lake and you will not believe what I caught! While keeping an eye on MASSIVE gators that were looking for an easy snack, it was back to back action on some of the most unique fish species living in the US.
(Side comment, most of the species caught during this video are considered invasive, AKA not native to these waters, and just goes to show how species like this can take over an otherwise healthy & balanced habitat)

Got to love fishing to be chasing gators away. 👍 Nice video enjoyed looking forward for your next
Happy to see at least one native fish out of all those!
Back in the '70s and 80's some tropical fish breeders got the bright idea to release breeding pairs into backcountry canals west of Miami and up to Lauderdale. They stocked different species in different canals, when they had orders for fish, mostly from Northern pet shops all they had to do was go out and net them. No maintenance costs of building and running above-ground tanks. It was very profitable for them. Little did they know or care that those exotic species would take over South and Central Florida displacing our native species!
I am not surprised that you didn't catch even one bluegill.
Sorry to sound like a bummer, I just remember those waters before the invasion of exotics.
Wow , that was some fast and furious fish' n ! So looks like Peacock and Oscar have pushed Largemouth and Crappie to the side .
Sketchy af Gators as well ! Only thing missing from today's S.Florida was the Pythons !
Gators sneaking up, never stopped fishing. I love it!
You both could have spent all day there and never stopped reeling them in! Surprised the gators could be spooked so easy and the variety of fish you caught! Congratulations!🍾
Much fun to watch, spooky adventure and thrills. Lotsa fishing action. It's a good thing Gators can be scared off. Nice.
Very nice video. Great job
Great fishing! Love watching you Erica! :)
Great fishing, but not for me with those gators that close! 😬
You found the kind of spot that dreams are made of.
Awesome 👊🏻👊🏻
Those Peacock Bass are good fighters.

Good to see you guys again Erica ! 😁 hope u guys are doing good ?! 😁😎 got a question for you ? Have you ever fished out in any of the western states ? It's addicting ! Omg ! I loved it !! Now if I can just try fishing in your neck of the woods ?! It would be awesome ! I can't wait ! Be safe there , ok. 😁😎🖒🖒
That’s awesome nice peacocks
That was fun. Im not sure about them gators being around when im trying to fish though, but i guess you're use to it.
Good job👌
New to the channel, awesome video! I would love to fish that lake! the variety of fish in that lake was nuts!
wow so cool .. anglers are beautiful and shrewd at playing fishing rods. greetings from Indonesia
Cool trip! Thanks. This like we would see in Venezuela. Except there were caimans instead of gators. There'd also be pirahnas, payara and the pavones (peacock bass) were twice that size. 15 pounders were common. They are super good to eat.
Very cool Erica ...
Cool video! How big do the peacocks get?
Any chance you can tell me where this? I moved to Florida last year for just this kind of thing! It looks like a few of the pit mine lakes along the Tamiami Trail where I camped last year. But those you just drive to.
Yo dope spot and 🔥 video
Very nice!
good video the gar was so cool
Hell of a spot for fishing, alligators or not
Nice. And throw in the invasive constrictor snakes that were no-doubt slithering about.
I would love to catch one of them peacock bass
Love the video guys but I must admit, I was a nervous wreck all the way through it (we don't have alligators in England!) lol
Love the Oscar's !
Oscars that size easily twenty dollars in Indiana at any pet store .
😎
good day fishing
NO! NO! NO! No alligators 🐊
Que lugar lindo! Onde fica ?
Hi, might I ask u what type of spinning real do u use
Erica, what video camera do you use?
Those Oscar are good eating. Just my opinion.
Why are you standing so close to the waters edge? To make it easier on the gator?
keep that location secret.
You’re hardcore 👍👍 nice
❤🧜♂
Texas rig worm slow work
Hello.
What rod have use the husband on this video?
Quite the honey hole... well done! An Oscar sacrifice to the gators would have been sweet.
Try the song.... Throw another stone 🪨 by Savannah Dexter
Just wondering why you return all of those invasive species back in the water? They should be on a table someplace or in those gators bellies!
thats it. im moving to florida. nice fish, and incredibly sexy women that fish all are in florida.
No cotton mouth??
Fishing great but not with gators. Maybe if had something to protect yourself with.
Why don't you make like Willie Edwards or Chase Landry and snipe a couple of those gators?
Seems like you're risking your life for fish.
Fishing around alligators No thanks
