I love jared Leto's work. Im just so confused by his depiction of Paulo Gucci - it couldn't be anything more unlike him. Yes Paulo was the black sheep of the family but he was in no way a bumbling clown.
That was the directors script and intention with the character. The director wanted his character to be the comedy relief so Jared intentionally went slightly over the top with the character to be more comedic.

Far and away the worst thing about this movie. Made me cringe every time.
Jared is a Great Actor but to me, he was miscast in this role. It was a combination of the way the character was written (being overly goofy) and also the poor make up where he did not convincingly appear around 50 years old.
Funny how he will actually be 51 this year.
