I will be out of IT freelance work early January and will take the chance to get out of this freezing Dutch weather for at least 10 days before I start my next IT assignment.
I love that you could see the ocean from your garden view room. Would you mind telling me what room number it is so that I could request it at booking? Does this building have elevators? We had been looking at RIU Montego and I know that not all there buildings have elevators.
You mentioned you spent a lot of time at riu montego bay but stayed at the palace. How did you travel between those resorts? Was it easy to go back and forth?
The resorts (Riu Reggae, Palace and Montego Bay are directly beside each other so you can easily walk to each property. Montego Bay is in the middle. Very easy back and forth. (Only drawback is that the ATM was across the street from the properties. Hopefully they'll get an ATM on-site at some point)
Yes, we did! We did a group trip to Chukka. We did a package (ATV, horseback riding, and catamaran cruise). We did not do the zip line and power snorkel but that's also offered there! They have other excursions at other locations in Jamaica, also! Here is the URL: chukka.com/destinations/jamaica/

They did have elevators but unfortunately I don’t remember which room # we had. I’m so sorry! This is Riu Palace by the way.

I stayed at Riu Palace (which gives you access to visit Riu Montpetit Bay and Reggae)

what is the difference between jr suite and jr suite special?
This is exactly what I want to know.
I called RIU. The Jr. Suite Special is still the Garden View, but you can view the pool and entertainment areas from your room.
