The two songs in Operation F.O.O.D.F.I.T.E. are The Private Pain of Techno Destructo and Gor-Gor, both originally written and performed by the metal band GWAR. GWAR even helped rewrite the lyrics for this episode.

My response to this is that they didn’t NEED to give the hamster such a sick evil laugh when he bursts out. But the fact they did boosts the moment to 11

oh my god, I'm not crazy! I was flipping through the channels years ago and came across this show, realized it was a kid's cartoon with re-purposed gwar songs, and never found it again. I told everyone I knew and they all thought I was nuts! Thanks for putting this up.

There's this, and then for anyone that ever played Fusionfall, in one of the trailers they played the instrumental of a Mastodon song. Obviously several of the folks at Cartoon Network are fans of heavy metal.
I know it's 6 months later but funny you mentioned Mastodon since the song Cut You Up was used for the Aqua Teen movie.

Best episode of KND. Make an episode with songs based off songs from a band clearly not appropriate for little kids. I remember I was in high school and I was over at a friend's house and they were watching this episode and when this came on I'm like holy shit that's Gor Gor!!!! It's like the creators are secretly flipping the middle finger to the ratings board for children's television.
woke up today with the television on cartoon network and this episode was on at that very moment.

What I find funny about the episode this song comes from is not EVERYBODY hates the lunchlady's food
