so i see someone said to use the peroxide straight from bottle and you said thanks for correction, so is the way you did it in the video wrong? you shouldn't have diluted it? what strength was your bought peroxide ?.
Hello. If you had ONLY two choices of 99 degrees Fahrenheit OR 100 degrees Fahrenheit on your forced air incubator which would you choose for Mandarin duck eggs?
I was also concerned since I sprayed my hydrogen peroxide straight without diluting since it shows 3%. Had me worried for a bit. Either way, I'mma candle on day 8 but I am glad that I am not the only one who thinks it's already dilute.
I used hydrogen peroxide mixed with water for quail egg. I am scared because there was white fizz forming in egg shell like some kind of reaction. Will it harm the egg?
Hydrogen peroxide will fizz anytime it comes in contact with "germs"...totally normal and fine. And no you don't have to use the dry hatch method with this but you certainly can. I've heard a lot of good things about dry hatching...
Mine did to! That’s why I am watching this video! How was the hatch? I saw the fizzing and it left a white residue on my hand so I am worried. I used the 3% from the drug store in a spray bottle on bought quail eggs eeek
Hi I am from south Africa, I work a shitty job and I want to start chicken farming, I literally do not have capital to do this but I want to do it anyway, what would you suggest for extremely measures to make a living out chicken farming starting by using incubator?
Hello, go for it you won't regret it. As you begin the proces you must know it requires time and patience to get the outcome you want but it will eventually happen. Once the chicks have hatched start selling so you dont have to feed a lot of full grown chickens. Then when the hens start laying eggs dont buy eggs anymore use those same eggs to incubate more chicks. Reapeat this proces eventually you cant grow more and start selling more animals like sheep and pigs which cost more = more money 💰
Okay. . .someone explain to this dummy, if I don't have a fancy scale. . .How much much hydrogen peroxide are we suppose to use per oz. of water ??? I am a dummy. Please explain
We used listerine wash to increase our hatch rate . I was amazed how well it worked .
I use distilled water for all of my dilutions. It gets rid of variables that can happen with tap or well water.

You don’t have to dilute. Just spray from a bottle of Peroxide and white clean place back into the incubator
We want to see the result. 6 years since then 😂
Interesting. I have an incubator, but haven’t used it yet...
Oh you should definitely use it. Especially if you have young kids. They love candling the eggs and when hatch day comes it’s very exciting for them.
The 3% refers to peroxide that is already 3% not you diluting it more
Thanks for the correction I really appreciate it!!
You don’t need to dilute the hydrogen peroxide.

99.5 IS IDEAL BUT IF NO CHOICE GO TO 100 WOULD BE BETTER STILL IS NOT TO HOT.
Lower is better. Too warm hatches early.
Did you scrub your eggs first?
How did it go?
It worked good. I had an 85% hatch rate.
@@farmsteadfun5227 Good stuff, i will try that on my next batch.
Use original yellow Listerine mixed. 50/50 with water and lightly spritz the eggs as soon as you bring them in from the hen house to kill all bacteria
Thanks I’ll have to give that a try
What if they're covered in dirt?
isn't the solution of H2O2 in the brown bottle already a 3% solution?
Tristen Berry, exactly.

Yep, already 3% right from the bottle. What he mixed is now so dilute it will essentially be ineffective.
@@tonymbabuphotography3016 how did they go? I did the same and am worried
Dilution wasnt needed lol
I used hydrogen peroxide mixed with water for quail egg. I am scared because there was white fizz forming in egg shell like some kind of reaction. Will it harm the egg?
How was the hatch? Was it successful?
@@tonymbabuphotography3016 its ok adding hydrogen but i find out we have to dry hatch using it

@@glenelkenfarm5577 now a days i dont use it. I dont think it will improve hatching. Use this method unless egg is very dirty.
👍🏼
why hydrogen does not bubble
Maybe because the eggs are clean? I’m not sure that’s a great question!
didint it said 9/12 grams of solution most of the weight was from the cup

Use a cap full in 8 oz. of water. Thanks for watching. I hope you liked the video!!
How many eggs hatched?
The hatch rate was about 90%!! Sorry I didn’t do a fallow up video! Thanks for watching!!
Just put the peroxide into the spray bottle and make sure to wash out the peroxide afterwards because it can degrade the plastic over time.
