The Slaws are on their early summer holiday to France. They leave Honfleur and head for Pontorson. It's an interesting journey as Slaw tries to deviate from Mrs Slaw's maps and ends up in the middle of nowhere.
141 miles and 8 euros 20 cents on the tolls and they safely arrive at Camping Haliotis.

The Slaws visit the famous UNESCO world heritage site at Mont-Saint-Michel in Normandy. They cycle there down the Couesnon. An easy 6 mile 45 minute ride and there's plenty of doggycam of Billy and Jessie in the Happy Trailer. Slaw gets fantastic drone footage of the mount with his DJI Mini 3 Pro.

Mont-saint-michel was breathtakingly stunning! Slaw's drone footage was, yet again, exceptional. Slaw was certainly full of beans jumping out of Helga on 'the next day'😂 and Mrs Slaw, you looked beautiful in your summer dress. I did chuckle thinking of Slaw being harpooned on the beach....touchè indeed Mrs Slaw😂 Sending hugs to the adorable Jessie and Billy 🐶🐶 x

Been all over Europe in a motorhome but my heart always belongs to France, its a country with it all, mountains, lakes, beaches and forests, it is the ideal motorhome campervan country - they really cater for the mobile traveller, it may not have the some of the gorgeous scenery of the like of Norway or Switzerland but they lack the other things France has that captures your heart - enjoy the Holiday Mr & Mrs Slaw

Oo I’ve not been here since I was a kid. We loved travelling with you. You guys eat well!!eating into beer time - brilliant! Yep it’s me on the maps too!! Oh wow not been there since I was 11!! We need to visit here, it’s stunning and I am remembering so much. Slaw so drew the massive member on the beach! Pouisson and chips - amazing! Looks delish. Absolutely stunning drone work guys. We were there on Thursday and it was heaving. We arrived at 9.45 and the queue fir the shuttle bus was hurrendous a lovely place to visit tho.
It does get very busy! That’s one of the reasons we went on the bikes 👍🏻

Great video thanks for sharing. Love this place. Remember taking the kids there when they were little and actually parking the caravan up on the car park (yes really you could drive right up to it at one time)adjacent before the major works to construct the bridge.

I always check polarity before plugging my old van in to see if needed a crossover cable. CEE socket with exposed earth you can put in Europlug upside down reverse polarity. Look like a good trip.

Thanks Gareth! Glad you find the vlogs helpful. We booked the pitch on Île de Ré a few months before as we got an early bird discount. It was very busy when we arrived as it was a French holiday - Pentecôte. However. It really quietened off after that. You can check availability for your dates online. If you really want an emplacement privilege, I would book in advance to be sure 👍🏻

Hi Chris, if you are travelling out of season ACSI is definitely worth it as you get a discount at partner sites. We’ve been using Solbio now for a couple of years and wouldn’t use anything else 👍🏻

Hi Janette, they are both tethered in the trailer at strategic lengths. They can get front legs out but that’s all 👍🏻

I have a lotus grill question I have just bought the XL but when I put the meat on I dont get the sizzle like you do with a normal BBQ. Am I doing something wrong do you think. Turn airflow to max for hot correct? You guys looking like you having a blast.

Yes if you turn up the fan it will get hotter so should sizzle. Maybe not as much as a normal charcoal barbecue as you are using less charcoal. With mine I just cook steady away. If you put things on the plate in the middle they tend to sizzle.
