Truth.. Geoff Raicer from Full Race spoke about this in another podcast. Saying the EPA/DEP are cracking down on shops for illegally "modifying" cars with cat coverters... A shop from Colorado was fine big for it... And Geoff spoke about how he is circumventing the whole legality issue of what his shop can and cannot do... It's unfortunate that America being a huge car culture from the beginning, now has to change its tune

If its a gtr and it's still running a gtr engine then it's a gtr. Money doesn't change what it is. Same goes for every single car out there. If you spend 200k on building your Lambo it's still a Lambo.
@gmula1987 there is nothing on those cars that are still a GTR. The engine is 4.3l and that's about it, the block and every component are different.

@ms0616 a shell. After bolt ons, the gtr needs a trans build. Stock you can't launch more than 3 times without it going into limp mode.

Because if we were to go with that yes the viper is running stock block but the fastest ones are running sequentials no? Is the stock block the only deciding factor making Kratos a viper still? As everything else on the car is modified

Hellcats, living rent free in the minds of car enthusiasts since 2015. These guys have 2-4 hellcats into their project, most Hellcats are actually street cars with basic bolt-on's. Why not call out the roots blown Hemi guys at the track, they're on par with these programs not a bolt-on street car.
U gotta remember bro these 2 races, fl2k and tx2k, are literally for big money shops to race their shop cars. That's it lol. None of them are class cars and none of them race every weekend lol. Literally 2 times a year. That's why this shit ain't impressive

Methanol is cheap! You can get 5 gallon pails of vp for like $57. Or a shop that has big drums and selling by the gallon cam be as low as $4.50 a gallon. I just bought some at my local shop.

A street car has a legit registration and inspection sticker in the state it resides. That's the definition. Can you legally drive it on the street? California street car is not going to get away with anything compared to a place that doesn't have a physical inspection of the vehicle to register and drive. So it varies by state I suppose.

@@FUNNYMONEY2-m1y GTR's run low 2's 60-130 on the street and they would obliterate a viper from a dig. Theres less than a single handful of vipers in the entire world running 2's 60-130. Kratos is by far the quickest viper and I believe the only one in the 6's. GTR's are running low 6's.

In all Honesty it's not worth what you have to do to get a Mopar no car into low 8's... It's really not look at the Demon's and Demon 170's they are struggling to break out of the 8's 9's even.. Yeah there are maybe 10 dodges in the country that are in the 7's barely.. On the other hand with GTR's there's probably 100's in the country doing 6's.. Even the Mustang Coyote is a better car to boost and drag by far, especially when you factor in money...
